      Typical carnist behavior.

    • @sandray7609
      @sandray7609 5 років тому +5

      @Statikal paleo and keto is a cult. In the winter you eat stored grains and starches, just like we did 100 years ago before fridges and freezers. Back then you ate the meat in a day or two otherwise it is rotten. Something tells me you have a stockpile of meat being chilled, it isn't sitting out

    • @sandray7609
      @sandray7609 5 років тому +4

    • @sandray7609
      @sandray7609 5 років тому

      @Statikal but why do people eat too much? Calorie density is the way to stay at a healthy weight and not be deprived. Poor people who eat processed fast food or live in food deserts aren't healthy. But some of the poorest populations who eat grains, corn, potatoes, veg and fruit are far healthier than meat eaters. Do the research on both, your bias is showing

    Dr. Klaper is a great teacher. I know what he is saying truly works. I have been a vegetarian for the past fifty years, it has been only two years since I have been completely vegan, no oil, low salt, hardly any processed sugar, lots of raw food, within a month or so my weight seemed to be melting off of me! I am now slim, happy and healthy. Save the planet, experience health and happiness, If and when we all can become vegan, it will be a more peaceful world. For now things may get out of control as we experience our environment, and our world out of control, hang in there, and spread the love, support one another. Blessings, #Calling All Angels

    Water ! I realized I was drinking about half as much water on a plant based than I did on the SAD diet. I was always thirsty and drank glasses of water and my pee was always dark. Now I get most of my water from my fruit an veg and it is usually clear. At first I thought I was developing a prostate problem or diabetes as I had to get up at night with a full bladder. Here it was just all the water I was getting from the fruit and celery I was eating in the evening.
    In seven months on a vegan diet, my wife has lost 60 lbs and I've lost 45. That's great but the best thing that happened was for the first time in six years, my pancreatic cancer is in remission. No new tumors were found and the four I have showed no new growth. In the past, every six month scan found new tumors and existing ones had doubled in size. Both of us feel sooooo much better with no lack of energy and our mood is much better. Plant based for life!!!!
    Dr Klaper is one our favorite plant based doctors. Dare I say hero, how many regular doctors save lives writing prescriptions to stave off death from our SAD ?

      High animal protein diets fuel cancer growth. Dr Colin Campbell discovered this in a study at Cornell university he was taking part in.
      It’s clear that removing the animal meat from the diet allows the body to begin apoptosis of the cancerous cells.
      I wish I knew about this information years ago when I was a child, I guarantee he would never have gotten cancer.

    I began my plant based journey 43 years ago after visiting a pig farm. The owners had a pet pig that was trained like a dog and followed them everywhere. He had arthritis and they we’re planning to butcher and barbecue him the next month. I was completely traumatized and never ate pork and other red meat after that experience (1976- I was 19). Ten years later I quit eating poultry - now vegan for 9yrs.

I have watched countless vegan talks and still learned from this. Well said about how to deal with non-supportive people around you - just eat the plant foods, it is your health, you are the one in the hospital if you eat unhealthy food. Very helpful about recognizing why it does not go well for all people going vegan, and how to transition. Watching to the end, the statement about animal flesh giving the building blocks to feed cancer is so important to recognize. Thanks Dr. Klaper!

    i first saw this video 3 years ago & it changed my life, after going whole food plant based: everyday having oats and berries for breakfast, and a big bean chilli for dinner, i got rid of 42 pounds of fat , i was already Vegan, but eating a junk-food vegan diet - pizzas, burgers, fries, cakes, chips, cookies etc! this video needs more views! its absolute essential viewing for getting in great shape and losing fat.

      What do you mean by "more vegan stuff"? Are the fruits, veggies, starches, and seeds at your local grocery store not enough? I say keep the food industry FAR AWAY from "vegan foods". They only know how to make addicting foods that are UNhealthy.

    • @katherine.zacheis

      ClickToPreview You have a really good point. However, I think better plant-based alternatives are needed for those who are hesitant about the switch. They can eventually be phased out.

      I'm a vegan with a few extra pounds. I've been lazy, been eating sugar, all meat subs. I'm back to picky. Not eating refined sugar. A Vegan can be very unhealthy, if it's being done wrong.
