It's an eliptical orbit effect... when the sound seems most detailed, high-hats clear, you're basically infront of the source which is vaguely above your head (in front of the podium in a stadium). When te sound seems flattened, more bass and less high sounds, you're looking upon the source from high above and quite a distance (far out the stadium somewhere in a tall building standing on the balcony). And the rest is a flight between those 2 points in an eliptical way. First time I heard this... so yeah, curious about what is done to the sound. I like the effect. It's a funny experience. But... this is no way of listening to music, imo. I almost got dizzy and nauseated by the idea of me flying at actually quite some speed taking into account what distance you should travel irl to percieve the sound as it is presented now. Like you're in an extreme carnaval ride, beying wooshed around. This seems close to how you percieve the music then.
