      No problem… it’s a really good idea 👍.. I keep finding good ways to use those Magmasters.
      I also just ordered that T6-1000.. do you like the Fieldsense?

    • @WillmannElectrical
      @WillmannElectrical Рік тому

      The fieldsense is a cool feature but the form factor for everyday use is the real reason I love my T6. I've probably put a fluke execs kid through college with my purchases over the years haha the T6 is still my EDC@@MORGANSMaintenance

    I use to do that with my tp3 when I found another way. I used one of thoes magnetic meter holders/klein coffee tumbler took the magnet strap off the cup. You can tuck the magnet in the belt loop for storage. Recently started using that belt loop for a icon magnet stick light as well.

      👍👍… I think I’m going to figure out a way to mount my clamp meter in a way that I can get it to stick to the front of these pouches.

    • @MattHmm-rq6dn
      @MattHmm-rq6dn Рік тому +1

      I use a fluke t6-1000 pro but a t5 of any sort you can jam magnetic straps in the battery case and have it close or modify the sleeve the t6s came with for belt but convert it to fit on the bag

      @MORGANSMaintenance  Рік тому

      @@MattHmm-rq6dn I use a Fluke 324 typically, but I’m going to see if I can add a tape measure clip to it somehow… or maybe just some metal to where I can just stick it on the Holstery Magnet… I assume that won’t affect anything since they make magnets for these meters
      I usually either just carry it in my hand and clamp it on something when I get to where I’m working, or I throw on another open pouch to just carry my meter.

      @@MattHmm-rq6dn I’ve wondered how that Field Sense works… is it pretty accurate? I’ve almost bought one of those meters to try out.

    • @MattHmm-rq6dn
      @MattHmm-rq6dn Рік тому +2

      The field sense on the pro with the ground probe is (good enough) to get you can idea when it's not critical. If I was doing phases and such I'd probe the hard way. I did have the t6 with the ground button you held with your finger and I wouldn't suggest that model too many errors as lazy as it was. T6 1000 pro has made life easy no stab probes in wires and the accessories that come with are easily 60 to 100 from fluke might as well get the kit. I can understand my meter works fine but time saved and no dismantling boxes or disconnecting has paid for rhe cost of the meter ten times over

      I oughta get a commission how many times ive influenced people to buy em. I bought one initially to hold my hammer. But more and more i saw the versatility of them. Now, i wear 3 everyday to work. To on the right, one left kidney. I got strips in the front right, kleins on back right and whatever miscellaneous tool or material on the left. No more torn pants and it being on my belt helps evenly distribute the weight of the tools. Ive gone to break a number of times w something hanging off my waist w out even noticing due to how comfortable they are. Ive had em about 2/3 yrs and still reliable as day one. Id recommend em to anyone

      It’s good for an extra space… the hanging part depends on how heavy your pouch and how magnetic the metal you are sticking it to is. If it works it’s handy 👍

    Hey Morgan, can you suggest any clips (wire or otherwise) that you know of that I can attach to the back of my MP1 to give it the MP1X functionality?

    • @MORGANSMaintenance
      @MORGANSMaintenance  Рік тому

      Not really. The Madpak I put on my TP3 would work… but it’s really too big for the MP1.
      Several people have put ToughBuilt clips on them when the button broke.… they had to through screw/bolt it on the leather strap. You could really do that with any clip… but I don’t know of any off hand.
      If I see something I’ll let you know.

    @ggrimm79 Рік тому +1

    Interesting. I prefer to have my m. tape in a pouch pocket, so this might come in handy when I run out of tool slots, and make use of my tool bag's tape clip.
    … Hm, I guess that's pretty obvious... and the whole point.

    • @MORGANSMaintenance
      @MORGANSMaintenance  Рік тому +1

      Yeah I never use these clips for a tape. I’m always using it for something besides that. I like the magnet because I can use it, or remove it… but even removed I can use it on something totally different.

    Nice tip for a very reasonable user, but...
    I'd add a serious disclaimer at the beginning. Imagine some idiot hanging his overloaded pouch 30 feet above the ground on a steel beam. And that pouch falling on some passers-by.

    • @MORGANSMaintenance
      @MORGANSMaintenance  Рік тому +1

      True… you have to have the disclaimers for those packing common sense 😂
      That’s what I think when I see certain caution signs… somebody has done whatever they are warning you not to do, no matter how dumb it is.
      I’m not sure how it is where you are, but the lawsuits people win here are comical. Thich leads companies having some pretty far out warning signs.

      @@MORGANSMaintenance Fortunately here it's not our biggest fear that someone will sue the shit out of us. At least not yet.
      You should definitely put disclaimers on videos with some tips. The same as you do on service and maintenance ones.
      If I were you, I'd sacrifice that views and edited the video by adding the disclaimer.
