Commercial electrician here. Snap went after 3 months of daily use. I just put a zip tie around the flap and weave my belt through it. I also use vetos TA-WB waist pouch and I recommend it. I really enjoy your channel keep up the good work.
I use 8" drivers 90% of the time so pass-through on a pouch is a must. This is a great carry and ladder pouch that can also easily be clipped to a larger bag when walking onto site.
I use mine daily for just what you said. I do lots of different jobs, so no one specific set up. I keep it in my truck and pull tools from my bags when I only need a few tools for whatever that job is. I haven’t had an issue with my snap yet, but I have read the same. At some point I may buy the MP2 as well.
I have one! Commercial Electrician and I really enjoy this for doing rough ins on big jobs. I grab tools out of my OT MC and put them in the MP1! My snap DID fail but I was able to take it to a custom leather shop and they beefed up the snap significantly.
I bought this tool pouch after watching your review. 👍. My Milwaukee battery powered screw driver ,#2101-20. fits perfect in that middle slot!! So handy for smaller jobs.
I kinda like them ! I modify mine to ride a bit higher ( low ride is an invitation for snow and slush , up here in Canada ! ) I also fit Pieces of scrap Pex , to prevent screwdrivers scratching stuff !
I was just shopping for a small bag and looked at this one since I love my other veto bags. Ended up going with a occidental leather electricians pocket caddy (5053). I love it so far just wish it had loops so I could clip some bits on. Also have a Joey pouch and it very handy for for screws or wire nuts.
I’m really liking the Joey pouch as well. I had 96 mirrors to do in a hotel this week and used it for all the mirror clips. Worked out fantastic with a couple picas in the side loops
I added a “ D” ring to my Joey , I often use it to carry my Clamp meters , forks down !At the same time it also accommodates a Veto tape strap , and will take a tether .
I have one but I think its a little too bulky. I bought it to use for a low voltage pouch(I do a lot of HVAC installs). I ended up with a bunch of empty pockets. I picked up a toughbuilt TB-30 and found the size to be much better for the few tools that I need(8 in 1 Screw driver, small level, wire strippers, tstat screwdriver). So if Veto reads the comments a smaller version of the MP1 could be handy for techs like me who only need to carry a few tools. I know I would buy one!
I have had mine for a few years and it’s been very handy. My snap did break, but I just put a zip tie around it and it works perfectly. I have also zip tied a Tough Built clip to it and had the receiver clip attached to a work cart and that worked well.
@@MillisConstruction The occidental is what I would call generational leather which would probably last a couple of lifetimes! What Veto is to tool bags, Occidental is to leather! Pay once cry once! Also made in the USA. I know your not a tool belt wearer, but they make top notch stuff! Awesome channel!
@@MillisConstruction Sorry, I didn't mean the loop. I meant the straight part that you slipped into your pocket. You could slip that behind your belt instead. That way it's secure but not locked in as much as the loop option.
Great vid! , I assemble furniture that requires me to carry my M18 fuel hammer and impact drill. What veto bag would you u recommend that allows me to store both drills in the same bag?
I've had my mp1 for 3 years and I love it use it every day. Snapped failed at the about 2 year mark found a leather guy had him replace the snap instead of claiming the warranty still going strong no rips or tears. Also just picked up the joey pouch interested to see how it works out
Please be careful using the snap option to put it on your belt. In 6 months I had 2 snaps replaced. I eventually came up with a magnet system for it. Personally I wish they would mimic my modification and use strong magnets instead of snaps.
That looks like a killah bag! I cant see how you could go wrong with that? Yes, snaps worry me also. I always am double checking the holster on my Olight Warrior 3s, to make sure it is snapped! Looks like a great tape holder, but I cant help but wonder how far out that tape will protrude, and maybe throw off the balance/carry ability of the bag? Electricians should find this useful.. Good video. Take care!

Love mine.
Nice quick grab for a few electrical tools for diagnostic.

Hello where did you get it? Is hard to find it..😤

I've been wanting one of these. Very good for the right hand tools. I might try to make one out of leather. Thanks for the closer look!

It’s way handier than I expected too. I really like it!

How did you go about zip tying the clip from the Toughbuilt pouch to the veto bag?
@@nachoisme I think I have a picture, I will look in a bit.
Occidental has one just like that but it's completely leather, with both options for pocket carry or belt loop.
Veto has one like this in all leather made in the USA also but I’ve never gotten along well with an all leather bag for some reasons.

You could also just slide it on your belt so it's a bit more secure than sliding it in your pocket.
Yep. It’s got both options 😎👍🏻

That leather strap that you used to put into your back pocket can also be used as a stand to keep the bag upright.
I really wish they would make this style but in like a 6-8 pocket pouch with belt

Mine has never gone bad. My thing is that i put my belt through it every time the botton never unpops
Does it come with a shoulder strap or sold separately?
Love your videos. Is there a way I can special order a veto mp1 for a premium price? Sold out everywhere

Could you do an mp1 vs mp2 comparison video 😃 😊
Can the biggest pocket hold fluke multimeter?
no
Get the mp2
I considered it but at that point it’s really getting too close to a size where I may as well grab my TPLC. I wanted a small kit
🏴☠️🛠😎💪🏻💪🏻😎😎
Not my thing, I would spend too much time going back to the truck to fetch what I had forgotten!
Lol true story, I find the same issue with the LC and TP4B also 🤣
Looks like this model has been discontinued.
Does it slide in my back pocket?
