- Are you a renter or homeowner who loves the look of wallpaper but don't something permanent? Check out this great tutorial for using starched fabric as a wall treatment!
Thank you for this super organized video- the wall looks very elegant. It’s amazing how uncomplicated the process seems. Your video was very helpful- came at the exact right time as contemplating peel-n-stick wsllpapers too. This fabric option allows for more creativity. Thanks again- greetings from Chicago
Your lace top is SO pretty!!!
I wondered if this would work! Thank you for the tutorial
How do you remove the fabric? Also, did you buy one large piece of fabric for the large walk? My wall is huge. Do you kind of fabric is best for the fabric wall?
You remove it with warm water
Excellent idea, thank you!
Can you use a linen blend material? I would like to add this semi sheer curtain fabric to a flat panel door. Do you think it would work?
Thanks for sharing. This looks so much easier than upholstering a wall. A couple questions. Does the starch leave a residue on the face of the fabric? I am using a dark colored fabric. Secondly, with a large piece of fabric soaked with the starch, does it tend to stretch out of shape from the weight as you are hanging/smoothing it? Third, does this application method make seams more visible?
Can you do this over wall paper?
Oo my gosh i look fordirection how maje it for long time ......you are my saver .....i love tgis idea ....do you need treT this walls differebt thn others ? If you taje them out do this leave staines or usfully washable later..... i love paters i love all 17 to 19 cebturt designes....woow
My country doesn't sell that product. How can you make your own starch or can you use regular laundry liquid?
You can just make it with flour and water, boil it and you get a sticky paste. I’d go for 1/4cup flour and 1 cup water.
Can I do this with paper wallpaper do you suppose?
Was your wall painted?
