I remember coming across someone who did the calculations for Valstrax's around the world move. The result was that the Elder Dragon was going from zero to mach 6 at ground level and crashing down at around mach 8. That's way faster than most of Iron Man's armors.

I mean, the amount of damage Dragon Element does is scaled off of how intelligent the target is. It's why it's almost universally effective on Elder Dragons, as most of them are very clever by animal standards and some approach or even match human intellect, in the case of Black Dragons. With how freakishly smart Tony is, it'd probably only take a good few hits to seriously mess him up.

I never realised Valstrax' wings form a sort of cockpit or shell when it flies.

Well Mach 1 is the speed of sound and higher till you hit Mach 2 and the sound barrier irl is about 750mph which if I did the math right, possible I'm wrong is mach 1.01. So yes it does go minimum Mach 1. I'm fairly certain it does go faster though

I fought this thing once. ONCE! in MHR. That thing pulverized me in seconds. Ive fought Shara Ishvala, Arc Tempered Nergigante. Safi and Xeno Xiva.
