I watched his highlights … definitely agree. He’s was more athletic than I expected for a guy that size. I think he’s an NFL WR. Not a top draft choice necessarily … but looks to be a “next level” player. I’m excited about this addition.
Malachi Fields reminds me a lot of DK Metcalf, that’s great pick up. A big target that can make explosive plays. Faison in the slot will thrive more with a threat like Fields on the outside
If We want to win a title Mitch Evans has to play better. We need Him to be the same player We seen last year before the Injury. Evans can be the player that opens this offense up. Especially in the red zone. I’m hoping Evans has a coming out party against Georgia & boosts his draft grade for the New Year
@@garystevenson6582 Like Faison with his ankle injury from A&M, Evans hasnt been fully healthy till recent. Georgia is perfect game for Evans to step up big.
@@IXLR82 What I need to see is best player on field, in proper position. Greathouse is given starting spot because he was higher ranked and Faison was a walk on. Greathouse cant separate at all.
@ I just want the best players on the field. That’s what We call competition. I thought thats what sports were all about. When you grow up maybe you’ll stop talking down to people because they expressed their opinion. I just want the players on the field that gives Us the best chance to win. You’re talking about (this generation). I’ve been watching ND football since the early 90s & I always thought We were all here to watch championship football.
@tomdemay6147 true but the dude is very athletic like Leonard and Notre Dame's defense has trouble with running quarterbacks he's not as good as Leonard
Losing Rylie Mills, I feel like the loss of Carson Beck is kinda cancelled out, we might even be worse off, since from what I’ve heard Stockton is a more mobile qb than Beck.
We will be FINE!!! It’s NEXT MAN UP!!! The defensive SCHEME is what makes us work. Be placed in the right spot to make the play. I see us definitely picking their QB off at least twice. Hopefully one of them is a pick 6!! GO IRISH!!!
Jack Soble, Did you see how Georgia's qb, Jake Fromm, when he came off the bench the game before they played us in 2017, but beat us as a "true freshman" as a starter in the game against us?. He was a gamer and starting the game a week later made NO DIFFERENCE. Georgia beat us anyhow!!
@@tomdemay6147 I agree, but the discussion was that it's unlikely that an untested qb could come into a game and make a positive contribution. I hope it could be true in case Riley Leonard is injured. We can't afford to overlook our opponents regardless. The georgia backup qb looked pretty decent against a very good Texas defense. We have to be ready!
We are NEVER going to overlook ANY teams in the playoffs. We have not overlooked a team since NIU. You’ve watched us play right? ONE thing we do GREAT is “ in game” adjustments after seeing what the opponent’s offense has to offer in their first drive.
Well hopefully #18, 8, & 12 will throw better and we can have a passing attack with big plays. If that happens J Love really has a chance for the Heisman.
@terrence_james One advantage will be starting the season with a homegrown QB who was developed within this system. Another, if it's Angeli or Carr, these will be true passing QBs. Finally, there should be no doubts with the OL next year. There should be no excuse not to have a near 3K passer next year.
What’s the word on Cam Williams? I thought he was a pretty exciting recruit to get but I haven’t heard anything about how he’s looked in practice
Go watch this kid's 23 highlights. He's already ND's #1 WR without playing a down. This is a really big acquisition.

Great job again, fellas! Your coverage of Notre Dame Dame football is absolutely stellar! Merry Christmas
Fields is the “player to be named later” in the Tyree trade.
Malachi fields against ND: 4 rec, 81 yards, 20.3 average, 38 longest. Not bad definitely a good pickup
Faison is twice the receiver as Greathouse and everybody tries to put Greathouse above Faison. Faison should be starting slot receiver.
I agree. I hope Greathouse progresses in the future but Faison should be starting right now

Don't forget big Catholic population in Louisiana.
Why no mention of Minchey
Who backs Rubio?
Beck would be better match up for ND defense, but that's my opinion, and I'm setting in my recliner.

Scared? NO! You don't want to play scared. Should they respect Georgia's quarterback for his abilities? Absolutely
It'll be Minchey or Carr
Carr is way behind. Hsan't been. able to practice all year.
@Jumbo-D Hasn't been all year just didn't throw for about 6 weeks. I think it'll be Minchey anyways with Angelli transferring
@@crodgers1011 - Only seen both of these QB's in the Blue and Gold game, but from what I saw I think Minchey has a stronger arm and better feet.
ND 38 - UGA 13
A bit closer then that
Notre dame 30 Georgia 18
I hope you’re right, but this is gonna come down to the last minutes. All 3 times they’ve played it’s been a very close game.
Bet me 10 dollars I got Georgia
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I just want to hear the excuses when we win. “Back up QB”, blah blah blah.
Another receiver that won't be able to do anything

I doubt that very much.
