I found this channel driving back to my hotel last year after the Ohio State game. I was in complete shock and needed to hear people talk about that game. Since then I’ve tuned in to just about every show and appreciate the hell out of you guys. It’s come full circle, let’s go get us a natty for the first time in my lifetime (29 year old lifetime fan) LETS GO IRISH 🍀🍀🍀
I am an 80 year old fan. I remember the worst days in the late 50’s and the best with Ara Parseghian and Lou Holtz. They had both had a lot of successful coaching experience, while Marcus Freeman has been on a steady climb to great success. It also helped his by hiring Golden and Dembrock. 23:06
@@nick21614 OSU is not firing Ryan Day. If you are a Buckeye fan how can you say you hope your team gets beat? If the Buckeyes win you will be on here trolling away. Thanks for stopping by.
@ No my prediction is OSU will win 42-14 I just like stating counter factuals that other fans might not be thinking about. And you're right the odds of Day being fired even in a loss are slim to none.
Great job fellas! I've watched nearly every episode this year. I've loved every minute of it. Minus NIU but it helped me cope the way Hyde started off the show. Great run this year. Go IRISH!
Mike & Tim Great show as always, don’t think I’ve missed many this year. Few things: This team is an easy team to get behind, absolutely love how they fly around & find a way to win. Got to get a turnover or two and win the crucial situations, red zone etc…Maybe a team of destiny, even with all the injuries, damn mash unit out there. NIL has definitely helped ND, as Shane Gillis put it, now we can pay DUDES legally like the SEC has been doing under the table for years! What’s ND’s endowment? 5 billion? Let’s go, and also go to class!!!!!
End of PSU game showed how well coached and how far ND Staff has come in “Game Management”. PSU got ball late and seemed grab bag: nice 12 yard run and then suddenly was “ Heh, let’s go big” and ND gets pick. Notre Dame then from 33 second mark to FG at 7 second mark, ran SEVEN very well managed plays to go 17 yards. Staff seemed very well in control
Rewatch the start of Jayden's touchdown - he delivered an extended stutter step, then juked inside before cutting outside. Dude couldn't handle it. Greathouse caused it.
Jaden Greathouse took credit for the move on the first guy in his press conference yesterday. Said he’d been testing him and setting him up the whole game.
Helps that paying players is out in the open now. Certain teams can't cheat anymore and keep all the good players. When Lou took over for Notre Dame I was 13 years old when I became a true ND fan. The two big bowl games feels like 88 to 93 seasons. Go Irish☘
Seems Charles since coming back from injury has worked at RG only. Any worries about the different footwork and movements going back to Tackle. I would like him to stay at RG this game and ride with Josh at LT. 🙏make his last game his BEST game😊
Love the show! Thank you for what you do. I know this will have nothing to do with what happens on the field Monday night, but why does Lou keep jabbing Ryan Day? I love Lou, but nothing good can come out of it.
Hey Mike some people get scared by a scream, or jump scare. Others get scared by a simple quiet boo....Greathouse broke his freaking ankles! Know football.
Whether you think it was a good move or not he did cross the db up and made him fall. It’s not like the defender would have just done tht for no reason the stutter and arm swing crossed him
@ coach a question because I don’t watch all of the film did he set that up throughout the game by blocking or running different routes out of a similar starting position?
Tim: I've been on night helicopter assaults in the Marine Corps that weren't as stressful as these playoff games! My disdain for OSU will only make Monday night more painful to endure.
There is no such thing as a spectacular move off the line of scrimmage. Every receiver does the same moves. It's all about how you sell it. It works in tandem. The guy doesn't fall without the move. I won't say Greathouse broke his ankles, but it took the move for him to get tangled up. Greathouse definitely had something to do with that. I played wr all my football career, i understand how it goes
The greathouse move was part move part depth that he runs into the center of the db and then the step for the route was very helping in the guy falling. He doesn't just back peddle into a fall for no reason of the wr. The 2nd guy took one of the worse angles ive ever seen. Was kinda hard not to juke that guy
This isn't a Top 10 matchup..this is #1 vs #2 matchup, because these are the only two left & ND eliminated the #2, #4, and #8 teams while Tosu eliminated the #1, #3, and #7 teams.
@@TimHydecoach My point is that just calling it a Top 10 matchup doesn't do it justice. When both teams are in Top 5 its a Top 5 matchup: '05 I think was Top 5, '22 was Top 5, but this as I see it is a #1 vs #2 matchup which is the most prestigious..more so than even a Top 5 matchup.
@@TimHydecoach yeah and CFP jokers dropped us to 5 to keep PSU above us after their loss..it's technicality, but pretty sure if vote was refreshed now it would be: #1 Tosu vs #2 Notre Dame Let's Go get one more win and let the historians sort it afterwards. Thanks Mike and Coach. Great stuff all year. Mike did we need the extended debate about the Greathouse play?
Thank you for watching.

My guys , do not worry. We here to win go Irish Beat everyone!!!
Great job, as always. 2025 is also our year. Book it.

Hyde spitting facts. Love it!

Dayum Tim. Early/Late Christmas. Singer hookin you up.
Can't wait to display it all!
Mike ~ if you see Zorich in ATL, maybe ask him to join in (or call in) for the post game too??? Awesome to hear from him again. Gooooooooo IRISH
Zorich is the best.

Bad footwork, and Riley to Greathouse made him pay for it. What a big time TD in a huge moment. This Orange Bowl was a classic.
Irish by a million!!!!
Jaden Greathouse took credit for the move on the first guy in his press conference yesterday. Said he’d been testing him and setting him up the whole game.
Big pass play!
Is it crazy to say I’m extremely pumped for this game and it’s only Thursday?! Playing for a national championship doesn’t come often
I can't sleep!

Because he can.
True

2005 should be in that conversation.
What conversation?
I think the team should take their names off their jerseys for the title game. Play for the team, for each other, and our university. Go Irish!
Don't you think they have been playing as a team & for the university? I sure see it that way.
Thanks for the comments.
@ for sure they have. Just thought it would be an interesting post season twist.
I want nothing more than to see 2025 15-1-0 on the natty sign in the stairs going down from the locker room!☘️☘️

Bad football at a clutch time and Riley to Greathouse was the big play they needed!
These are the times tenterhooks were made for. (Apology to Thomas Paine.) ND 30, Ohio St. 20; one score made ar set up by defense.
Long live "The Crisis"
The move didn’t have to be special but the CB was flat footed and got caught peeking in
Bad footwork and they made him pay.

Greathouse caught the guy on the wrong foot. It looks like bad footwork on the CB's part more than a great move on Greathouse's part.
