I just bought this thing. It’s a monster!! Wow! Everyone has been celebrating King of Bass by AK but this is the baddest sound anywhere - I mean, they have a patch called 36 Saws!!
I’ve been bass synth-ing my iPad like crazy I have the 808 by AudioKit and it was the best I’ve used but so limited. I saw this and was like “where tf have I been!?” Caught it on sale today and it’s now my favorite bass synth!
It's about time some developer give the attention to us (poor Android tablets users).. first time I see a proper app for Android tablet.. this dev should be rewarded.. Let begin the race for Android music apps to compete w/ Apple.
I had to snag this one. It has a really nice workflow and it sounds incredible but I keep having notes get stuck while playing. I’m on ninth generation iPad using the latest firmware. Anyone else seeing this issue?
Nice sounding and I own a lot of TB stuff. I wish they had included synth and all other kinds of bases though such electric, acoustic. I mean, why doesn’t someone set themselves up as the go to bass software for iOS/AU3 equivalent of something like Trillian? I appreciate it may have to be latest hardware only and there will need to be options for standalone storage. I have my iPad pro that fulfils many work and entertainment roles including writing music. So, I’m all in and not going back to laptops etc, so the market is there for these bigger products.
Trillion is like a TB of storage, I’m cool on that for iPad. I hate big libraries for iPad because they come with such limited storage and there is no option yet to save on external drives. I wish you could install apps on external like i do on PC.
Does it sound good though? Doesn't need to sound new to be the best. The Mini Moog doesn't bring anything new, but it's a damn fine synth for funky basses. I'd say this synth does basses really well. Certainly better than the vast majority of synths out there that are more general purpose. I like it. It's definitely up there with the best synths for bass.
@@vgaportauthority9932 for one thing, many of the presets are played in upper registers that I wouldn't consider "bass." What I meant was, the bass stuff doesn't sound like anything I couldn't find in the presets for, say, Synthmaster.
@@banyarling Comparing it to Synthmaster is a fairly high bar. Synthmaster is arguably one of the best software synths ever made. You could say "doesn't sound like anything I couldn't find in the presets for, say, Synthmaster." to pretty every synthesizer ever made. I'd say that Lowtone gets most of the way there for basses without having to learn a million layers of menus. The closest synth to this that I've used recently would be Trooper from Yonac. I kinda like Trooper more tbh, it has a super dense bottom end.
Lowtone is a novel approach to synthesis the way it harmonically distorts the lower end and you can hear that clearly when you play with it. Especially with the punch knob and noise filters I can really quake.

This sounds better than the Moog Mariana to me.

Me: I do not need another synth - annnnd I have another synth. Cheers Doug, this one's definitely a keeper 👍
When I saw this on the App Store, I immediately bought it.
Caught this on sale in the App Store! Worth every penny I saved lol
That was awesome to hear early in the morning here in Aust 👍😅👌 Bless! 🎉
Sounds great, but what I really love is your enthusiasm Doug. How can I not want this synth after listening to you?
Thanks Doug, your demo encouraged me to buy another great synth, adding to my ever growing collection, this is definitely going to be the last one 🤥

Really wish you could directly adjust the waveform with direct controls, like TB has in their plugin effects.

Sweet!

Does it work on garageband (IOS)?
“Put headphones on.”
Best advice for a vid like this. Cause the iPad speakers don’t do it 😂
In for $10!
Nope -Moog Model D is.
Any evidence for the claim in this vid? Not hearing anything new.
