Thank you, there is a lot more wiring to come in the next few months. I am glad when I get the wiring done and everything works like it is supposed to!
Sehr gerne!
I AGREE, every railway station I have been to when it's lit up at night looks like this setup, so yes he has fot it perfect, even with led lighting on the railways in many countries he has still got it perfect, what an amazing job, keep up the good work mate and can't wait to see it finished
@paulcarter5337 I try to replicate a railway before LED technology since I like the light colour better. I am working hard to get this part of the layout finished since I want to celebrate the line opening next year. But when this is done I need to build the second part of the layout which will take another couple of years...
@@summitrailway I agree the lighting levels before LED were much softer and nicer. I embrace technology and environmental savings, but that soft 'glow' was/is lovely
Thank you! In December I will run my trains for sure. Bevore that it is unlikely because I need to rip apart the second half of my layout to install the wiring which inhibits train operation.
Thank you! I do not have any experience with US wiring so I am not able to tell you what is available. But I am sure you have at least a similar system over there.
Love the videos and your work. If I may make a suggestion, throw a little bit of train running in each video! A train pulling into the station under the new lights would have been perfect!
Thank you! I get your request, you are not the only one that was suggesting this. The problem is I don´t have time at the moment to do the work and additionaly make the layout operational regarding track cleaning and preparing the rolling stock. This takes additional hours that I don´t have right now. I will run some trains in December and after the electrical is done it is much more likely that I am going to run my trains more frequent.
Funny enough I tried using them but because of the thick wire and obviously the wrong crimping pliers it hasn´t worked out. My whole attemped to do so was deleted in post production because it was rather boring to watch.
@gabor.nadudvari Regarding the connectors I could have at least released the springs before inserting the wires, I will do so next time. Regarding the DC converter I tried using ferrules but it wasn´t going to happen because of the wire dimenstions and some wrong crimping pliers. I am sure it will work just fine like it is but you are totally right that it is required to use those in this case.
It just looks fantastic! Also very impressed by your use of the word "contraption". All wonderful and very much looking forward to seeing future developments. Where are you getting the amazing buildings from - are they kits? Many thanks for sharing. Tom (from France).
Hey Tom, thanks for your comment! I didn´t know how to call it so I used contraption 🤣 The buildings are purchased all over the place. From eBay to some custom made models. But most of them are manufactured by POLA G and are available as kit.
The lighting is very atmospheric. Your wiring is a masterpiece of design. Excellent work.

Absolutely brilliant job looks so good with all the lights on the station area
Thank you!
The track inspectors will be happy !!
The track inspectors will never be able to appreciate these magnificent lights...it seems that they go to bed at the time of the hens...🐔
🙂🙂🤫🤫
They are for sure, now they can see at night :)
That is true, I have to bring them out one day 😂
Excellent, great feeling when all your work comes together.
That´s for sure, I enjoyed this as much as you did!
Wow, looks absolutely superb. Always look forward to your updates, very informative.
Thank you, I am constantly working so there will be more updates soon.
Absolutely fantastic lighting system great job👍
Thank you very much!
Thank you very much, I am glad you enjoy the ongoing project!

Thank you Mark, I appreciate it!
SENSATIONELL; tolle Bahnsteigbeleuchtung, sieht extrem realitätsnah aus
Danke, so war mein Plan :)
Wahnsinn, der Bahnhof bei Nacht. Sehr schöner Schaltschrank. Gute Arbeit. Danke für die Einblicke.
Sehr gerne!
Quite simply WOW that looks absolutely perfect, the lighting levels are just the right level. Top Job 👍👌I am very impressed

@mrowl-the-dsm1304 Thank you, I tried my best. There will be even more lights, I am installing them right now :)

@@summitrailway your doing a fantastic job
The station looks truly amazing all lit up. Well done!
Thank you!
Looking awesome mate. Get those trains running!

Well done. Really enjoyed this video. Couldn’t do this myself though!
That´s no problem, I will do it and you can enjoy the results!
looks fantastic thanks for the update
You are welcome!
How great is this looking, so nice! Now you can shoot the station movie :)
I sure can! Glad you like it!
Very nice work on the wiring. I wish I could find that system of clamps, rails, and accessories in the US.
Thank you! I do not have any experience with US wiring so I am not able to tell you what is available. But I am sure you have at least a similar system over there.
Brilliant

Congratulations It is awesome. I´ve been waiting for ages for this
And now it happened! I am glad you could await it.
Es werde Licht 💡 oder so, sehr schön 😀
Genau so!
When you use fine stranded wires in the PTFIX blocks, always release the springs with the push in button before you insert the wire.
Thank you for the tip, you are totally right!
For stranded wire some ferrules are highly recommended.
Those connectors have spring clamps, so it is better not to use ferrules there. But yes it is required on the DC converter with screw terminals.
Funny enough I tried using them but because of the thick wire and obviously the wrong crimping pliers it hasn´t worked out. My whole attemped to do so was deleted in post production because it was rather boring to watch.
