Hi! My name is TAETRO. thanks for reading to the bottom of this page. i love making music, being creative and also helping other people make music and be creative. if you want to support this channel, many of the above links are affiliate links which means you can purchase gear or software at no additional cost and i will get a commission :) even just liking the video and subscribing to the channel helps a ton. thanks for watching the video!
The fact that you're having fun and vibing to it comes through and makes the track that much better!
Love this!!!!! I’ve been waiting patiently to see you make some house tracks. Keep them coming
more to come!!!
vibey ! I love the commentary as well, it really provided stellar insight and a really good look into your thought process !
Great performance. What I do is record the drum tracks (from Seqtrak) in the SP404 MK2 in one pad and the synths as solo instruments as seperate pads, if I have multiple drum sequences on the Seqtrak I use one pad per drum sequence. This gives a great opportunity to mix and play. On the Seqtrak, once done with a synth, I sample it in one of the 7 slots and start with a new instrument. I also sample the sample slots to the SP404 one by one. On the SP404 make sure the bpm is set to the same value as on the Seqtrak and set the number of bars needed. This way your samples mix perfectly without any adjustments...
that's a good workflow! I'll give it a shot.
Happy to see you having fun in Vegas😎
Even the music you made here sounds brighter☀️
thanks olivia! yes being on a mini vacation definitely influenced the music
Effortless performance, didnt notice those ‘mistakes’ since the overall performance is just owesome n I enjoyed it. Especially when it is created spontaneously, the ‘mistakes’ is like an art to the music, break the rules as it is part of the unique art creation 👍 keep it up
Always so inspiring🎈
😮🎉🎉 great work! House music usually calms me down so was ironically exciting to see where you were going to take the track next. Feeling inspired to create something in house as it’s one of my favorite genres. Thanks again for sharing your creativity even on a getaway with your fiancée. Thank them for sharing you with us. 🙇♂️
thanks nathan! yeah - I'm finding the same thing - house music can get me moving or can be calming! 🧘
you owned it bro love the vibes on this !
Nice job stepping out of your normal comfort zone of lofi. It's not perfect, but you're doing the thing and I appreciate the change.
Loving the SEQTRAK content! Maybe next time you could do a rap/rnb beat
I love it, love it, house and deep house suits you just right too 🫠🫠👌👌❤️
I need to learn all these different house sub genres now!
Nice. House of Vegas 🎵🎵🎹🎹🎧🎧
thanks joker 🃏
Love this! Nice Jam
thanks ricco!
Awesome track Taetro! I love house music as well as EDM. I hope to see you make more house tracks. Enjoy your weekend!
more to come for sure penny!!
Nice performance. Thanks for the insights. And bubbles… they fit, for Vegas.
hahah ok glad you like them 🫧
Nice. You just sold that drum machine. I'm picking one up ASAP.
I'm loving this! Really fun track! I was a bit surprised to see the Novation instead of the MiniLab 3. I almost bought a Novation midi controller keyboard, but opted for the MiniLab 3. I haven't done any music production since the early 90s. So, everything is new to me again! Having a blast listening and learning. I want to thank you for your generosity as an artist and dare I say, a fine teacher .
yes! the launchkey mini has 16 pads instead of the minilab's 8. thank you for those kind words!!
Brutal!! ❤
Beautiful track! Lot's more house please 😊
I'll keep it coming!
@@Taetro Awesome!
Do U no the mpk mini play 3 can U use the midi usb wire to a wall outlet plug and have unlimited usage because I haven't got it connected to my pc or laptop
Very inspired video and good lite house! I try to use my portable set up (circuit rhythm + monotron delay + monotron duo +zoom h1n) but I have some little problems to mixing cause usually I doing all my mixing process on a computer. But I inspired by your video and I want to win my problem)
getting the mix right with multiple devices is never easy! I definitely would have made mixing changes if I had control over everything in post.
That sounded really cool.
thank you zerberg!
this was awesome, I love house music
thanks! any house suggestions??
Very fun video. Cool track. And no, we wouldn't notice :)
haha good to know! thanks for watching!
hello my friend. Nope, if you hadn't mentioned the mistakes in the video I for one would not have known you made any. I'm blown away how you can make music on the fly like this and it sounds AMAZING, especially with all the programming and timing going on in yor head while doing this LIVE. TRULY AMAZING. Hope you had a good time in Vegas. Talk Soon. Cheers !!
haha good to hear about the mistakes - thank you for your kind words as usual!
Definitely not a house fan but it was fun watching you play, and made me wanna crack out my Circuit Tracks or Koala app for sure!
Will the track pack fit under the seat? or just overhead?
it will fit under the seat, but I've got long legs so I put it in the overhead to keep the leg room
Very enjoyable.
thank you deafy!
Most deaf-inetly bro.
Dope vibe and sound. Shades are on point! 😎 your setup is inspiring me to try a similar thing with Circuit Tracks + LK Mini
thank you! yes the tracks + launchkey is a perfect pair!
awesome delayed kind of fluctuating structures:-)
thank you!!
I keep seeing the seqtrak in all your posts, you must be enjoying it
I for sure am!!
MASTER.
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Killed it. Now I have to buy a seqtrak and learn making music...
haha I'm not responsible for any purchases but I'll take responsibility for any learning XD
This is dope
You’ll be performing at Coachella next year 👌🔥🤘
see you there! !! XD
Does anybody know if you can programme midi keyboard to control tap tempo on Seqtrak?
Check the manual for SEQTRAK which is online. In the manual search for CC mappings - there’s a full list of everything that can be mapped!
Just realized we got the same shades 😎😎 maybe we do a B2B house dj set 😂
hahaha niiiiiiiiice - good taste! 🕶️
you good bro!
It’s been a few weeks since you’ve had the SEQTRAK, how are you finding it?
really loving it!!
Nice. I gotta practice.
Any comments on the quality of the Seqtrak's build quality?
thanks! the seqtrak is probably the lightest plasticy piece of gear I own, but it survived the trip well. As long as you don't drop it regularly, I think it's totally fine. Also - using the launchkey for playing notes vs the seqtrak keys makes it a lot better
@@Taetro That makes sense. I was thinking how you just took it out without a case and it seems fine. Thanks!
🔥🔥🔥
You don’t make this kind but it’s a vibe, I want more!
Easy to do. You don’t have to be musical to generate great sounds and create sounds. That is the fun about these devices.
Teatro regálame un controlador ❤😊
😎😎😎

Yet, it's some of the best music I've heard him make. Nothing wrong with making normal digestible electronica. Everything he does to me is odd and experimental. Wish he would apply his skill set to more commercial acceptable music as would resonate with a larger audience, which in turn would bring him fame and fortune.
tastes and trends change - I wouldn’t recommend chasing the approval of others. The people who like my work will support. I’ll continue to make work I think is great rather than trying to simply make digestible music that might appeal to the masses.
👌
The track eventually got there. But house is dance music. So the beginning did not work to disjointed
yeah you're right - need to get in the groove quicker!!
I will reply to your question: Yeah, had you not commented on those mistakes, most of us wouldn't have noticed. It sounded groovy and nice.

G'day Taetro. I started making music around 1985 & was heavily influenced by Industrial sounds like Kraftwerk, Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, Cabaret Voltaire, etc. Around the mid 90's, I started getting an interest to experiment with the House sound, probably influenced by clubbing. That time was when House was blowing up along with Raves & Dance Parties. That sound from back then, I believe is still relevant today & could even be considered as the Fundamentals. What they did with Chords, Arps & Piano still applies today, even if today's productions sound more technical, sometimes over-processed but whatever. If you can get your head around those Chords, Arps & Piano, which I'm sure you can, you'll be Housing in no time. Here is my goto list to anyone wanting to study the Pioneers & Fundamentals of early House music, strictly House, not touching into Acid yet coz that's another beast altogether, which is what I finally settled on as a preference. Enjoy:
K-Klass - Let me show you
K-Klass - Universal Album
Inner City - Paradise Album
JX - Son of a gun
BlackBox - Dreamland Album
N-joi - Anthem
Motiv8 - Rockin for myself
Motiv8 - Break the chain
A guy called Gerald - VooDoo Ray
Dream Frequency - Feel so real
S'Express - Original Soundtrack Album
Sunscreem - Pressure
So amazing …thank you for compiling this list! Can’t wait to dig in!
If I was to pick 2 faves from that list, it would be K-Klass: Let Me Show You Love & N-joi: Anthem.
