Bubble Branes -- "1984" by Stephen Sink | Fractals and Electronic Music

One of the first five or so tunes in the Steve Sink catalog, this one was written in 1994 about the book 1984 and here it is almost 2024 soon (or already, hi Future People!). I think about adding more bass all the time to this track, and I no longer have the source files and could add tracks, and perhaps with some AI magic, separate out the track and redo this song entirely. Maybe I will! But I needed a short tune to go with these two sets of fractal videos done at high detail alternating with mid-to-low detail fractals. The song's full title is "1984: Darkness, Evil Death & Destruction."
No actual dragons appear in this video, sorry for the artistic license with the thumbnail.

Thanks, Rick! Originally done on 8-track tape in the Kansas State University music studio and then finished up on my home computer, running Digital Compositor or maybe it was Digital Orchestrator, that I think morphed into what's now Avid's Pro Tools. But even if I had the source files, they only worked on Windows '95 or so at the latest and then weren't supported by Windows anymore, and then I went to Japan in '99 and sold all the equipment before I left. Yeah, I hear you, UA-cam auto-transcribes it to usually something close to "Darkness, evil, death and destruction," and "Boot of oppression/pushing me downwards" and that's about it on the lyrics, LOL. Thanks for coming by and rocking it out with us!
