16 years on and I still come back to this video every now and again. It's weird to think I used to be like.. 8 I think when this game came out, and I remember watching this video when I first started going on UA-cam. Really cool to see that it's still up, this was some nice nostalgia :)
Time sure does fly, huh? UA-cam really has changed a lot since the early days. Glad you can still get something out of this video though! Been so long since I've played Stuntman. Maybe I should hunt down a used copy some day. Take care, friend :)
Who else agrees that the stunt arena, and the game in general, is so much better than Ignition? The game as a whole was much more realistic and that always appealed to me. Not to mention that for it’s time, the physics were absolutely incredible
agreed, the second one doesn't feel right at all and the stunts in general are way too unrealistic + i've played this game ever since i was 6-7 i grew up around it
It’s more realistic, the physics were much much better, the game was pretty grounded in reality. ‘Cause when I think of stuntmen, I think of movies and settings like what we had in this game, not the over the top and ridiculous ones like what we had in Ignition.
Oh my god i was young when i watched this. dang and youtube wasn’t but 2 years old and i was still bashing it out on burnout 3 2 stuntman atv off-road fury and more games. I miss my childhood so much
I totally agree with you there! The car physics were so watered down for Ignition to make the driving scenes less painful, but the stunt mode really took a hit. I wish they thought about that before releasing Ignition...
If you want to get technical about it, a few years, since I no longer have the game, and all these clips were ripped from an old VHS tape I recorded them to back in the day. As far as editing the clips to the music, probably a couple hours, I don't remember ^^
Driver San Francisco would be a 10 if you could flip cars like this (and if all the pieces fell off so easily). Once again, I think I've said it before, great video!!!
the second one is pure crap cuz of the downgraded crash and car physics...the first one is still one of my favourite ps2 games. and great footage+editing btw!
Awesome compilation, man :0 Made me remember when I used to mess with the stunt editor xD In my favs =) One more thing: in 0:31 and 1:11 how did u make the bus move ? I try to put a car launcher behind it but the bus is way too heavy oO
Aww, crap... You HAD to go and say that. Now you got me dreaming of what could be possible o.0 I don't know how big the modding community for GRID is, or if there even is one, but that needs to happen.
Remember playing this. It was the shit... Not only were the movie scenes great to drive (except for the occasional bitchy scene), the visuals were stunning for the time and the editor was just kickass. Parts flying and shit falling apart. Fucking excellent game.
man this vid was off the chain bro :) i love stunt man... thow stuntman ignition isent that great thow :( car parts dont fall of the cars in the new stuntman unlike this one
Well, I rented Ignition recently and wasn't really compelled to buy the game from what I played of it. Constructor mode was a big let-down. The game is a lot easier than Stuntman 1. The first one was one of my favorite PS2 games, and you can easily find it used for really cheap. Check it out if you get the chance.
WHo out there wishes there was a 3rd stuntman? Instead of the one we got in 08, we get the old one back with all the funny shit we could do with our out of control flipping cars, and have it on ps3 and 360? or just render the 1st one to a ps3 graphics overhaul?
Use the car launcher to 'shoot' dummy cars forward. Other than that, this video is so old and I haven't played the game in a loooooong time. Just fool around in the editor a lot and you'll get it.
I have both of these and Stuntman, the original (the one in this vid) is so much better than ignition. If u r planning on buying ignition don't. Buy this one instead. Its harder, more realistic, its got better damage and its just an overall better game
I bet if the stunt construction arena allowed for 2 players, the game's replayability would be higher thanks to having another player building and driving. Twice the brains, twice the mayhem. And that's not even mentioning that the rectangle track in the arena is mostly worthless without some competition. The game has a wide selection of vehicles, so why not race them on the rectangle with a buddy? If only there was a remake of this game today. Even so, I'd keep my expectations at the bottom of the barrell rather than have them be sky high. Who knows if the dev team screws it up?
@DaRkProDucTioNs00 Yea, at the time Reflections was owned by Atari, and Atari most likely sold the Stuntman franchise to make some money because they weren't doing to well. I believe THQ bought it and made Stuntman Ignition. Nobody can top Reflections physics engine, so of course the "sequel" sucked.
the first stuntman is way better than stuntman ignition, at least the stunt constructor part of the game is, i was quite disaapointed with stuntman ignition

That's not a question, that's a fact! The first one was way better.
The damage is better than every game in this day and age
This game is masterpiece,no doubt.
Ahh the memories... A perfect game for it's age (2002)
I don't think they can make a better remake than this.
I like the original Stuntman much more than Ignition. And the funny thing is, I can't even tell exactly why. :)
It’s more realistic, the physics were much much better, the game was pretty grounded in reality. ‘Cause when I think of stuntmen, I think of movies and settings like what we had in this game, not the over the top and ridiculous ones like what we had in Ignition.
0:45 how to do that?
I assume with the remote car things
excellent stunts, excellent game, excellent music!
five stars buddy!
Your video is so goood 👌
THE BEST VIDEO ON STUNTMAN IN THE WORLD
is this one.
loved it sooo much! especially 00:16
this game was fun but damn the load times were long.
Great editing, enjoyed the whole vid. Thanks man
good job on this video man. one of my favorites ever came across on this place
the front wheels of the tow truck ALWAYS came off -___-
Great work! I do this stuff all the time on Stuntman.
ignition was a fun game! the stunts were far more intense but the first stuntman is by far better haha
Oh my god i was young when i watched this. dang and youtube wasn’t but 2 years old and i was still bashing it out on burnout 3 2 stuntman atv off-road fury and more games. I miss my childhood so much
no matter how long this game is its still epic!!
I totally agree with you there! The car physics were so watered down for Ignition to make the driving scenes less painful, but the stunt mode really took a hit. I wish they thought about that before releasing Ignition...

Very good video, I love this game!
Driver San Francisco would be a 10 if you could flip cars like this (and if all the pieces fell off so easily). Once again, I think I've said it before, great video!!!
this game was insanely good, i remember the music was awesome too, it got me into Overseer. Ignition was a joke, make one like this again
I Remember how badass this game was. :)
the second one is pure crap cuz of the downgraded crash and car physics...the first one is still one of my favourite ps2 games. and great footage+editing btw!
I still have this laying around somewhere for my PS2 slim
Can't wait for stuntman alttitudes
boy this game is harrrd im still stuck on career mode lol the video is great too
wow nice vid! wish i still had this game, watching this makes me want to play it again. why the heck did i sell it anyways?!
Awesome compilation, man :0 Made me remember when I used to mess with the stunt editor xD
In my favs =)
One more thing: in 0:31 and 1:11 how did u make the bus move ? I try to put a car launcher behind it but the bus is way too heavy oO
Amazing game! My cousin has it but I never played it
Aww, crap...
You HAD to go and say that. Now you got me dreaming of what could be possible o.0
I don't know how big the modding community for GRID is, or if there even is one, but that needs to happen.
thanks for the comment!
yeah, this game is great... can't wait for the sequel!
how do you stack all those cars on top of each other?! and whats the cheat to unlock everything (if you know of course)?
do you use the cheat for unlock everything? if so, how do you CaSe-SeNsEiTiVe the letters?
The phisics engine is so realistic...
It reminds me of FlatOut2!
Cool!
me, i have watch them live: Blindside at pier pressure in Gothenburg at the summer, IT WAS THE BEST and the video to 8/10
Remember playing this. It was the shit...
Not only were the movie scenes great to drive (except for the occasional bitchy scene), the visuals were stunning for the time and the editor was just kickass. Parts flying and shit falling apart.
Fucking excellent game.
Can you put as many obstacles on the course as you want?
It's 'Yamkela' by Blindside
Song is Yamkela by Blindside, says in the video description. You can get the game used for under 10 bucks I'm sure. Do it! ^^
Great video! Could you tell me what software did you use to edit this? Thanks
@DaRkProDucTioNs00 Actually, Reflections is the game developing studio that made both Stuntman (the original) and the entire Driver series
Now thats how you make a game trailer!!!
yeah i know. This is unbelievable for the ps2. I mean this is ps3 stuntman ignition on the ps2. I hope i can find this at gamestop or amazon.
how do you get all tose other cars to move?
Dud, how can I get this on my PS3 and make it work, or get it on my PC? Well, emulator for second one... but any ideas for PS3?
You have to have one of the old, fat, 4 usb backwards compatible consoles for PS2 games to work.
@@MetalZeroFour yay, finally someone from the future!
man this vid was off the chain bro :) i love stunt man... thow stuntman ignition isent that great thow :( car parts dont fall of the cars in the new stuntman unlike this one
If i remember correctly, I pushed it with 2 car launchers, and kept it going straight with a few cement road blockers.
Still an awesome game
how do you get the huge stack of cars
Nice music
1:47 this car is from Driv3r too :D
Too bad this game doesn't work on my PS2 emulator for PC, it's not smooth...
Whats The Name Of The Song? And How Much Is The Game? It Looks Cool So I Might Get It =-P
how can you activate those cars?
thats cool! i
i think you get the towtruck by either completing one of toothless and wappings scenes or one of a whoopin and a hollerins scenes
Yeah i know. Not to mention you can actually jump off cars with a monster truck
Please refer to the video description.
thank you very much ^^
how long did it take to make this video?
thank you!

how the heck did u move the bus at 1:11
is this game for pc???
plz answer
thx :)
nice
@DaRkProDucTioNs00 It was published by Atari, Reflections are the developers
I believe! In YOU! Ohhh YEAAH!
No, back when I played the game I manually unlocked everything through completing the game.
that game looks fuckin awesome.. wish they had it for the 360
Use the car launcher to 'shoot' dummy cars forward. Other than that, this video is so old and I haven't played the game in a loooooong time.

damage looks heaps better in this that it does in ignition.
Song is "Yamkela" by Blindside.
is cool!!!!!!
cool
It's a shame the game has only come out on the PS2 and not on the pc
There is a toy in Stunt Constructor called the car launcher.
I bet if the stunt construction arena allowed for 2 players, the game's replayability would be higher thanks to having another player building and driving. Twice the brains, twice the mayhem. 0:16 monster tank!!!
the first stuntman is way better than stuntman ignition, at least the stunt constructor part of the game is, i was quite disaapointed with stuntman ignition
Lol i will and thanks...lol i didnt see it in the description >xDD i look but didnt see it...i know...im blind =-P
or 99 for a brand new slim one
Holy shit at 0:46!
some cars are from driv3r but some are from drive: parrallel lines dint you see!!!!
is stuntman 2 as gd as this?
daz 1182 its pretty good. perhaps not as good as 1 but still good
sweet, im too lazy to do that o.O
@DaRkProDucTioNs00 Yea, its too bad they didn't put all the cars from this game into Driv3r, it would've doubled the amount of cars!
dear santa...
Wow
BindI. Exactly like that.
Not that I am aware of. Google is your friend.
This is litteraly Gmod for cars
what sucks is this is better then no.2 ignition has better graphics but still in this one you can actually roll and actually crash
0:45 awesome
Nice editing! I like the music and the way you cut the scenes. The end is really great! Compliment. Check out my "Stuntman Trailer" ;)
