Beautiful shots of this stunning breed. Our Lagotto has just had a lovely litter of 10 pups and they are absolute heart breakers. We live in North Nottinghamshire (Sherwood Forest) in England.
I have a Lagotto, too. I got him recently (7th December 2019) and this video makes me kind of sad because my poor baby won’t be able to travel with us for around a year because of the outbreak...
We live a fairly rural area in Kentucky. We had a visitor on our front porch two days in a row. The first day I chased her away hoping she would just go home. She came back the next day and I thought it would be prudent to try and catch her and look for her owner. Took awhile with a lot of patience and a few dog treats. We took her to our vet to get her scanned for a chip, nothing. One of the girls at the vet posted a notice on Facebook and got a call that the owner is a neighbor. She just had the dog for a couple of days and then it ran away. Dog was loose for six days until caught. The girl (owner) said the dog was having trouble with their other bigger dogs and it ran away. As I was reuniting the owner with the dog it told her to get the dog chipped and look into getting her spayed. The girl looked pretty young and not really capable of dealing with a scared dog. So, I told her if she was looking to rehome the dog, we would take her. I was trying to determine a breed because she looked to be some kind of Doodle mix but I think it’s a Lagotto Romagnolo. Would DNA prove breed? She’s a pretty good dog, so far. We’ve only had her one day. So, vet in the next couple days then groomer. I’m actually thinking about donating her to an organization that trains and donates service dogs to people needing service dogs. Or we get suckered by our soft hearts and her loving face. Wish us luck!
I know this is an old post, but I would love an update. Did it turn out to be a Lagotto Romagnolo you didn’t say, but I’m assuming the owner wanted you to take her? If so, what an amazing stroke of luck not only are they an amazing energetics and affectionate breed but they also go for about $4000.
Did you ever manage to acquire a Lagotto? I’m always intrigued to hear how people are getting on with this breed. Our lovely litter of pups are just about ready to leave us and we’ve found some great homes for some of them and still looking to find matches for a few.
@@alistershaw7976 At the time there weren't any in the UK and I refused to take the Nanotechnology mRNA injections so could not travel abroad to get one. I ended up getting a Cockapoo and to be honest for my age, I think a Lagotto would have been to big for me to manage. Although I do take my dog, dog training every week. I still think the Lagotto is a wonderful dog though if a person is the right age and can afford one.
Because when i was young i was fan of Belle and Sebastian. The original trailer is forbitten. But i wanten the music from this film. Indead it is a little bit sad.

Keep that baby. She will become your heart. I have an 8 month old Lagotto and I can’t imagine life without her. Lovable and oh so smart!
