I love how you guys are constantly on the lookout for smaller and more efficient replacements of your existing gear. I'm here for it.

I guess that Aer has seen Peak Design travel bagpack when they were designing that bag
Yay Tom is back
I just got a compact mechanical keyboard for the key layout more than anything else. I do think it’s a little noisy. Before that, the Logitech K380 you showed in the video has been my daily driver for my desktop setup. Some may think it isn’t “pro” enough, but it works well, I love the multi-device pairing, I do like the fact that it’s relatively quiet, and the AA batteries last a very long time in it. The K380 is priced so low that I overlook its minor flaws and call it a very good deal, and yes, it’s suitable for travel though a little on the thick side.
Always on the hunt for affordable product photography.
I would like to see a video for the best personal item bag. As someone who tries to travel at the lowest cost. I’d like to maximize the amount of space allotted. I use a peak design 45L for my carry-on. But now I’d like a bag that maybe could act as a day bag/duffel that I could simultaneously carry. Ive been looking at the nomatic 30L travel bag and the Patagonia mini MLC. I’ve been watching your videos for a long time and got me through my month long trip in Europe. Please help lol!
oh my is that a new Aer Tech Sling? Been waiting for a new one before I take the plunge... looking forward to the review!
Furoshiki is the cheapest and most versatile bag I have ever seen, it can transform a piece of Cloth to a hand bag to sling bag and to a backpack😊 just UA-cam Furoshiki backpack and also Furoshiki sling bag the videos will show you how to use this ancient Japanese art😊
Need these Aer backpacks to drop ASAP.
Will we get a review of the new Logitech Casa product line? I think some Digital Nomads would appreciate the thoughts.
Something for everything in this roundup.
😃😃😃
(Custom...) Mechanical keyboards can be quiet you know! I have ZealPC Healios V2 (silent linear switch), lubed and filmed, and my stabs got a nice bandaid on them. I skipped the foam as my case sounds nice, but who knows, I might go for it one day.
Based on my office environment, 2 apple magic keyboards are quieter, but then every other keyboard is actually louder than mine. Of course, I'm not murdering my keys when I type, which I guess can make more of a difference than keyboard. Some people are just angry and keyboards suffer. When my coworker from like 5 seats away is typing, I can painfully hear scratchy pinging noise his space and enter makes - and they both make a different sound and I don't know how it's bothering him.
While I haven't seen very slim mechanical keyboards, there definitely are some lightweight options. There are low profile switches too, but I haven't have my hands on any of them - this could bring the height of the keyboard closer to Logitech K380.
If lightweight design is then combined with 40% keyboard form factor, I think you can end up with a pretty neat chocolate bar. I haven't ventured there yet, but my friend is using one religiously and swears by it. There's definitely a learning curve to get used to 40% keyboard, but he says that his hands actually get less worn out after a whole day of typing. He mapped the crap out of all possible combinations across 3 layers I think. He says he actually uses mouse a lot less and he says he's faster - which for him means finishing work sooner, not doing more work.
We should not be talking about mechanical keyboards that are built/assembled in a way that makes them irrepairable - that's a waste of money and environment. I was murdering 1 keyboard every 1.5-2 years and it was usually an important key that died, so I had to buy a new one each time. Annoyed, I finally got into custom mechanical keyboards 5 years ago and I had to replace 2 switches since (and I still have 20 backup switches). My mechanical keyboard cost around 2x my usual keyboard, so it already paid for itself.
The main pain with nice mechanical keyboards and this whole niche market is the accessibly. Group buys seem to be the only sensible option to produce this stuff, so it could mean that you might end up waiting a year or so for all parts to arrive... though some off the shelf prebuild/halfbuilt keyboard options are always available, as do some parts, they are kinda somewhere, in some quantity, with some shipping sometimes, but might not be exactly what you'd like...
Bought a pair of the Soundcore P20i True Wireless Earbuds, they are fantastic for the price and only have small amount of lag on the Bluetooth sound and voice
How much space does the Aer Cable Kit 3 take up when close to empty?
Yes the duo charger is my new favorite item
🤙🤙🤙
Oooo i missed you Tom!😊🇬🇧
I like the mini-tripod but they aren't available anywhere.
I love my mechanical keyboard. Everyone nowadays have earbuds on (observing my close surroundings at WiFi cafes, library, etc.) and so I really don’t have a problem with my gratifying touch and sound keyword. But I am also a humble co-habitant of this world therefore, I will not use my mechanical keyboard or I would move if someone has to listen to it.
🤙🤙🤙
Pack Hacker with another good recommendations vid.
Thanks for watching! 😃
Oh boy, new Aer stuff? The new Tech Sling and Cable Kit looks interesting, when do they release?
Keep an eye on the reviews channel 😃
@@PackHacker will do 🫡
Have y'all ever tried and reviewed those vests that turn into bags? Not the fishing kind but like one from guachao 3928 and dys-topia? Would love to see one in action and learn if they're actually functional!
Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll pass it along.
@@PackHacker cool!
The photo tripod is out of stock (with an unknown restock date) on Amazon. I had a very similar brand and the handle got sticky over time.
If they use soft touch rubber, which typically degrades after a while, you can try to clean it off and reveal the bare plastic underneath using tea tree oil.
Great video 📹 👍
Thanks for watching! 😃
@@PackHacker you're welcome
DAYPACK 3 LETSS GOOOOOOOOOOO
😃😃😃
Re the keyboard, Perixx makes a much smaller foldable one. (It can be paired with three different devices.) I haven't typed on the current version; I have a slightly different version, which I quite like.
Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll pass it along.
Never seen anyone using mechanical keyboards in public. Personally, i wouldn't mind, since i like the sound and usually have my buds listening some music or watching a video/working
Smedium is ok, byt i gotta say, I prefer Marine Layer's Marge option
New Aer Cable Kit looks more like the Peak Design
What‘s the best Backpack for 2024?
Evergoods CPL16 review please!
Knowing my luck, the Altura would get flagged at all security xrays in airports/train stations due to the shape😂
😂😂😂
Hope you’ll actually review something soon instead of being the travel shopping network!
Watch their other channel, reviews are there

Thanks for asking this, I didn't realize there were multiple channels either.
👋🏼 How do I get my small Travel channel to grow like yours? Nice going! Also a very interesting video 😊 Cheers!
Wait, is there a separarte review channel? 😱
Welcome 👋 www.youtube.com/@PackHacker2
mechanical keyboard is not acceptable in a public place/coworking office. Drives me nuts. I use the K380 specifically because it is quiet, but it also has a decent typing experience.
Please do an android charger/power bank!!!! Not everyone uses apple devices.
Think of the group before the individual. Traverlers need to be considerate of noise pollution. No sound bleeding outside your headphones. People should always wear headphones when in public if listening to videos, music, podcasts, or streaming entertainment.
Thanks for sharing your insights! 🤙
I would totally buy an Aer, but they are made in China. So im out.
ok one question...why apple which sucks? well i might not such if all my apps can actually workn on apple now since the UE said that....as an industrial automation engineer i make my own apps and automations and yeah...the things you say about are just for comercial stuff...you are literally a comercial pion, the thing you wanted to escape.....come to me when you realise the thing that EU did which is allow 2rd party loadup....becausenit is cared of whatna phone might do otherwise...
With every packhacker video, despite being 10 minutes, I just use the description for the product, and if I don’t like it I leave within less than a minute.
I like hearing what they say about the products. Lol, I don't even need any of this stuff, it's just my form of window shopping! That's what's great about the digital format though, it can cater to all needs & preferences!
Why would you say this? This will make them less inclined to make more videos like this
