I like how Dean is more present in this, he doesn't get enough credit for how cool he is, and how much he brings to the band.

Saw this tour in Brisbane on March 2014. This looks almost exactly like the set they played, the countdown, the backdrop, the setlist.
I had just started working during then, my family was laden with financial difficulty and had little money to spare but I said fuck it, I will see them even if I have to starve. And so I made the trip from Malaysia to Brisbane just to catch this gig and it was the greatest fucking show on earth.
10 years later I will see them again in Australia in Feb 2024. This time I don’t struggle financially anymore and I am successful at work, thanks to QOTSA being my backbone and soundtrack every step of the way. Can’t fucking wait for this next show! QOTSA FOREVER!
I've just seen them in Berlin last month for the first time live, but It was listening to them for a few years before ... And I just can't f believe how good they are at the scene!

Everybody has a favorite concert they've been to, and one that generates ceaseless bragging rights. Like if you had seen the stones at some small unannounced venue. Mine is seeing Queens at the Transmission in SF on their debut tour. Queens was just a baby and I hadn't even heard them play yet. I only knew of Josh from Kyuss and thought that if he was in a new band they have got to be good.
