Your videos really help! I picked up a 260 and it's very dirty. I'm taking apart and cleaning one component at a time. Your series of videos gave me the confidence to do it myself.
You have to be very careful if you intend to disassemble everything, some elements are as if welded due to old grease and corrosion. you must pay particular attention to the plastic-metal gear in the upper part of the machine.!! good luck
@@MasinskiKutak thank you for your comment. I'm only taking apart certain components that are very dirty. I am not stripping it down, I know I'm not qualified for that. Your videos are a great resource!

Great job. Well demonstrated. The only deficiency I felt was the lack of lighting, the area of work was not illuminated properly. Otherwise everything was appreciable. Thanks for uploading this video.
Thank you, it is certain that the recording can be much better, but I don't have those conditions, maybe I would buy all that equipment if I could earn it, according to my experience so far, that is impossible. Best regards ua-cam.com/video/2QmWfHOY33g/v-deo.html
I don't think I have that video, in this series only the assembly of the machine is shown, there is no time setting, it is difficult to explain, and to be honest, few people are interested in it.
I have a 332 fully funtional for at least 40 years. My mom used to sew for other people. Now I am using it for My clothes. In the last few days it has been getting thread between stuck between or into the bobina y porta bobina (don't know the name in English). Could this be a time belt issue? If so, how can I adjust it? Time belt is ok, although it has been changed or adjusted in probably about 15 years
What do you mean "stuck"? Can you take out the bobbin case, does the machine catch the lower thread, can you start the machine by hand...etc? If the timing belt is correct and well tightened it should not be a problem, it can happen that the "timing" is disturbed on the shuttle hook.! If the machine is completely stuck, unscrew the needle tensioner and remove needle, clean everything around the bobbin case and try sewing...
You mean "are the motor mounts for the Pfaff 30 and Pfaff 230 the same"? My answer is i: don't know What is your problem,? you have a motor but no holder? motors located outside the sewing machine can be installed without the original holder.
@@MasinskiKutak I wanted to put an engine on the Pfaff 30 machine, but the screw for the engine support is missing, so I wanted to know what kind of screw it is and the measurements, as the screw that comes with the engine is wider. Do you know where I can buy
As far as I understand, the problem for you is the bolt that tightens the engine.? I don't know what the diameter of the screws is, but the screw as a machine element is at least easy to find, it's an ordinary screw like any other, nothing special.
@@MasinskiKutak I've looked here in Portugal even in a Pfaff store and they don't know the measurements, they say it must be a screw in inches, the one that comes with the new engines is wider and doesn't fit. Said screw does not reach 0.50mm, it must be between 0.48 and 0.49mm
I have bought a Pfaff 230 from an Estate Sale this week; it is very clean, I have tested the machine briefly at the purchase site, the machine lit up; the bobbin was empty of thread but the top part was threaded upto the needle, it ran smoothly (using no fabric); brought it home, pluuged in and showed my wife by running it smoothly; then I let her try, she ran the machine briefly with no problem, then she tried to run again and the machine jammed and is in that condition since then despite many attempts to make it work Took off the bobbin case and found no thread entangled in the bobbin arera; trying to waggle the balance wheel but it only would waggle may be quarter of an inch in either direction. Could you give us a hint on what's going on; or recommend any action we could take?. We are no where close to your level of expertise. Thanks in advance for your help.
First of all, do not try to start the machine with electricity, turn it off completely, this is to save the engine. These are very old machines, completely unpredictable without detailed service, who knows how long it sat somewhere without any maintenance and lubrication.? Remove the bobbin case, remove the needle, remove the top cover, remove the belt from the engine... and slowly move it back and forth by hand, lubricate all marked places with sewing oil... check the condition of the internal timing belt...? It is very difficult to memorize the place of the stoppage like this, it can be in many places... www.masinskikutak.com/2021/11/pfaff-service-manual-adjustment-vintage.html
@@MasinskiKutak Really appreciate your sincere and long reply; followed your instructions and the jam cleared; oiled all the red marked slots and the machine now runs smoothly (without thread or fabric); however, with all the settings set to Zero or default the needle is running for Zig Zag stitch (left to righ and so forth) instead of normal straight stitch meaning some synchronization issues. Gradually will get there hopefully. Thanks again for your help.
