Skylighting & Cloud Shadows are the new features showcased, combined with CS Light and the newest NAT Weathers that now work for CS. Make sure to always check and install the features showed on the Community Shaders page on the nexus and to also grab the mods needed on the requirement section. Hope you guys like CS as much as I do! Stay awesome, thanks for watching!
I'm thinking of changing to this from my enb, because at this point I have messed around so much with the lighting options that I have very little consistency to how things look depending on the weather/time of day. It seems like CS gives everything a balanced, well lit but not too bright look all at once across the different environments
I tried Community Shaders and I kept noticing that the water in the distance would shine this bright bright blue and it would annoy me so much, if I could find the answer to fixing that, I would reinstall CS in no time just because how quickly it is being updated.
Love your videos. Easy to follow. I know CS hasn't caught up to ENB yet, but I made the switch any ways last month. I use it with 2.4.2 version of Vivid Weathers (has a shader with fomod install), true storms, storm lightning and it looks great. Many features to me is better than ENB. Like water and when it rains is amazing looking. Every update each mod makes, makes the game look noticeably better. I have a question. I read the comments on auto parallax mod and there seems to be issues. Does it work for you? I guess you wouldn't say to download it otherwise, but have your noticed any issues. Ive never used parallax of any kind. Thank you
Auto Parallax works but it has issues. My problem comes when I try to combine and patch dozen different parallax textures together. PBR is what goes really well with Parallax.
you could say 20% of what ENB demands to your computer. it even has DLLS and FSR3 builtin. completely free not as that "modder" who put DRM to his mod.
I just changed to this the other day. Along with Skylighting, Cloud Shadows, etc. etc. Does one still need DyDOLOD Rendered. Cause I still have that in my Load order. Still have to Redo it for these new stuff if I should keep it.
I am form South America, we don´t have the "Sh" sound neither in our phonetics, and its sounds funny : community sadist, and look at the sades ! (Marques d´ sades ?, Sadomasochist community ? ) I love your videos and that Hellenistic accent. Ευχαριστώ ! Σε χαιρετώ στο όνομα του Τάλως !
what is the performance cost, i know this visual aren't for free make a good comparison compare good & popular ENB preset idk something like Pi-CHO cause it support same NAT.ENB III and either match fps from both ENB and CS or the harder match visual level of detail which is the harder cause it more subjective otherwise saying one is better without proof is bit misleading for now
@@Kavou thanks for you input sire Kavou definitely, CS was more performant when i used it back in 2024 but i wasn't impressed by visual's quality ENB's was better looking but W/ sum script lag for me and i had to use upscaling for stable fps
I hope they "fix" the lighting, when i use an ENB, the game instantly looks far better than with community shaders and all it's bells and whistles, i don't know what it is, but enb lighting just looks better to me, despite having great features like PBR, Light Limit fix, it still has that vanilla look, even with Global Illumination on top, if they make the lighting as it looks on an ENB, i'll switch it instantly, because if there's something i noticed, it's way more stable too.
I don't think there is problem with lightning in CS. Today I finnaly installed CS with all features and PBR textures. And i don't see any reason i should switch back to ENB. With skylightning feature it really feels like you playing with Ray Tracing. So there is no problem with lightning in CS, It just doesn't allow you change colors by tweaking saturation, etc. BUT, there is a mod on nexus it calls Imaginator - install it and you can change colors, brightness etc in MCM.
This mod i just mentioned is better than Reshade i would say, because it makes tweaks in the game, but Reshade just puts it all on top of it and result is your UI is get messed up

Changing between Enbs or to CS is always very refreshing. I hope you'll enjoy CS.
Going through the install is MUCH appreciated!
Likewise!

Theres no fix. Its the CS shader Lods. They arent good
I had the same exact problem in an ENB setup with Water for ENB.
What texture are you using on that whiterun watchtower? Looks fantasic!
Tomato's PBR Imperial Forts, I have covered it in my previous video. it's phenomenal as most of the PBR stuff on the Nexus.

0:48 what is the performance cost??
Less then any ENB, almost nothing.

If you re-installed CS then yes I would re-run Dyndolod.

Thank you sir, σε ευχαριστώ πολύ!
Appreciate the updates on CS's!
which CS feature "boosts" performance?
Light Limit Fix.
what is the performance cost, i know this visual aren't for free

The last 2 new features that were added, take around 1-3 fps for me. If you are using PBR textures it takes almost no hit in performance.

bro i dont know how you didnt hit a milion sup but thank you from syria)
Hey, thanks a lot!
it needs reshade to spicy the color up but performance to quality, CS is far beyond ENB
I wish CS would come to fo4. they share the same engine and lighting. i know how problematic fo4 is
I would also love to have that, maybe 1 day.
I think I will stay with ENB. CS needs million other mods to work. And CS looks too dark at night an in interiors.
What i don't like from new CS is some items that previously had particle light no working now
Yeah, it will probably get patched.

There’s a mod called ReShade helper that fixes that.
@ really? thanks, good to know
Looking at this, enb still has superior lighting ngl, If it gets closer to reaching ENB's lighting pipeline then I should switch
ENB will always be superior when it comes to next gen graphics. It's cool to have alternative options.
