Take a look to the old one ,the new impeller have to point the same direction you can use little bit of grease

Mkae sure to undo the shift linkage too or else it will not drop out on a 2006 yamaha 40. Drove me nuts as most videos delete that part. Check Jamestown tv video how to replace a 25 hp yamaha....

Some time it is a pain there is a bolt hiring and because the salt gets stuck with a piece of wood and hammer hit it gently

I'm going to do this next week. I'll let you know how it goes. One question.......do you leave the motor in neutral, reverse or forward? Or, does it matter?
