  • Award-winning documentary filmmaker Matthew Heineman talks about what he saw while filming inside the Long Island Jewish Medical Center, one of New York’s hardest-hit hospitals, during the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the biggest issue we face now: a mental health crisis among healthcare workers.
Their sacrifice makes them heroes, but they’re human too. Tell your State Medical Board to ensure that healthcare workers have access to the mental health support they need:

Facts. Trauma is forever. And the only thing that changes is how we handle it. Thank you for making this film.

Just watched the film on Hulu. What a truly incredible, masterfully crafted documentary. Bottomless respect for both the valiant health care workers and the filmmakers.

Savannah, GA just opened COVID WARD on 5th floor putting me on 7th as negative. Told I don't need to wear mask but past few days, sneezing, dripping nose, etc. Biomed doc told me today several doctors tested positive. A shortage of personnel. A retired physical therapist who rides about 150mi week! Tough and exasperating!
