Greetings from Houston TX, I just had to say A Big Thank You for this Video.. in 1965 Dad bought a 10 1/2 ft slide in p/u camper.. I dont know how they found Green Lake. But we were out there Almost Every Week End. We Also Spent time at Proud & Bruin Lake, Sterling State Park in Monroe Mich. But Green Lake Was Always Home. 90 % of the old Camping Photos is at Green Lake. Where the Boat Ramp is. That Sandy Hill on the Side is Probably Hiding at Least 20 Tonka Vehicles and Hot Wheels. We used to Park the Boat over at the Dam, and pick Wild Straw Berries, Blue Berries, Black Berries & Polk Plants. I Miss those old Cobblers Mom Used to Make.. To Many Memories to List Here.. Havent been back since 1978.. Moved to Houston in 81........ Again Thanks for the Great Video !! God Bless !!
I searched the google earth map of Michigan for "campground" and found my way to this video. You have sold me on this campground and I am planning my trip now. Wonderful video, informative and quite pleasant.
As of May 1, 2022 the site fee is $20/night summer plus $8 reservation fee. Still rustic with no hookups. I remember this place from my childhood. I’m 75 now.
Hi Todd, I am a ranger at Waterloo Recreation Area. Can we share this video on our Facebook page with our guests? We will definitely make sure to give you proper credit! Awesome video!
Katlyn Naughton-Wagner, if your a ranger over there then i have a question for ya. On the DTE trail i happen to notice a second trail and i was wondering where that leads? If i remember right the trail starts by the boulder pile. Thanks. :)

Nice video, camped in the area but never there. Thanks for showing.
This is a helpful video since I was needing to know if the boat launch had adequate parking. Thanks!!
Do you know which campsites have ideal trees for hammocks?
