BB really spoiled the viewers with the ending of season 3. "Half-Meassure" was already brilliant, and this one managed to even top it.
And it doesn't stop there. Season 4 finale tops _this,_ which is quite a feat.

Yes, it’s incredible. I can’t think of any other show, not even The Wire, that consistently gets better as it progresses. The Wire does improve in the fourth season, but then it either declines or plateaus in the fifth. Breaking Bad is the only show I know of that keeps increasing in quality with each season.
There are other shows that may match it in terms of quality, like Sons of Anarchy, The Shield, and The Sopranos, but they tend to maintain a steady level throughout, with just a final burst for the series finale. None of them have that constant upward climb like Breaking Bad.
Do you remember when Gus asked Walt why Jesse was his partner?
Walt said because he's does what I say and he's the only one he can trust ..well the ending scene proved perfectly that..

To Walt, this is his fortune 500 company and wants it to be bigger than Grey Matter. He won't stop until he makes more than them, and that's in the billions.

That's an interesting observation, that thing about the 3 Walts!
And as we know from the Walt at the start of the story, we can see why he felt that way (the whole "I never make my own choices" speech regarding cancer)...
In this flashback he wanted so much, 3 kids, a large house, a study, etc.. but 16 years later he didn't do any of that, still hte same house, only 1 kid (and the other being an accident), no money, nothing.
He's a man who wanted so much for him/his family, but ended up with very little.
This was Jessie's first kill. He's wanted to kill, and people have died around him, but this is the first time he actually killed someone.
I missed this my first time through. Walt has killed several people. Jesse wanted to, even intended to, even shot Tuco in the gut, but never actually killed anyone yet.
This is where I got wind of how great this show was..I immediately caught up and the rest is history. Still my favourite show of all time. Love your reactions!
In terms of shocking moments, what's coming will make this final scene look tame. This series just kept upping the quality of what television was in those days.
Walt enjoys this. Part of it was saving Jesse but the biggest part was thst he enjoys the criminal life. The danger, the challenge, the money it was makes him feel superior and important in his mind

I don't see why you would want them to kill Victor. He is a faithful employee and did everything his employers asked. That's just a good employee with a strong work ethic. That's the kind of stuff that built America. Shoot Victor? Really, how dare you, yo.

🤔Gale looks "cute", but in fact he is no better than any scumbag like those who killed Thomas. Because Gail makes money being part of a monstrous system that destroys lives. People like Gel, Walt or Gas are the most important part of a monstrous drug system that kills completely innocent people, like those hundreds of victims flying in an airplane. I will also add that Gale is not a fool at all and during a conversation with Gaz immediately understands that it's not about cancer, but Gus's desire to eliminate Walt. And Gail doesn't mind at all.

there are levels to being bad, or doing criminal activities. gale's moto is that stuff exists already, he can make it cleaner and "safer" to use. does not make it right, but to put him in the same basket as walt just shows how you lack any critical thinking

Yea but calm down it's ok to call someone cute if they act innocent even though they are not, Jesse is a part of that business too but he is cute and has heart it's just a show calm down but yea Gale knows what was going to happen and didn't try to warn Walt at all he knows not to step in the way no matter who's life is at steak, that's actually the difference between him and Walt and Jesse Walt is willing to kill someone to save him and Jesse he sticks up for his partner no matter who his boss is and Jesse will too even though he really didn't want to because Gale is a nice guy.
I feel sorry for Gale. ...yeah having a girls name sucks. ;)
