This video helped me get my old drill going. It was stuck in reverse. Though the switch operated differently, I was able wiggle it into forward position and crazy glue it in place (I have no way near your fabrication skills) however I am able to drill holes again. Many thanks.
I have similar drill but with manual chuck. Today, I wanted to service it for the first time in 10 years or so and unfortunately saw a "C" shaped spring like material on the table when I was inspecting the motor, etc. That spring has one end looped in shape of Zero and the other end is smal "c" shape. Any idea where could that be in this dril or similar drill ?
@@ErCanEverything actually the spring has a diameter (if full circle then) about quarter to an inch / 20 mm and it's made of a very thin guage wire. The drill machine internals are same as in this vdo ua-cam.com/video/iu_J7Zn7KNM/v-deo.html but I did not see that razor thin spring in this vdo either ☺️ Anyways the drill is working fine and if there is any issue faced then may be I could figure that out later - Thanks for the help.
I had the same problem, the interruptor was broken. I fixed it but when it broke, was because the switch inside is very hard. Now with the interruptor fixed, it works but still hard to switch... Is not the same model, mine is an EPC12. I don't understand why is so hard...
Clever. Very clever! Saves an expensive repair at the service.

Could it be from the shifter button as shown in this video 8:05

My drill problem is chuck wont reverse without unscrewing from drill.
Tried tightening but that isn't working.

Wow imagine needing another drill to fix a drill😢
