I have recently started a new job, and my company car is a 2013 T31 Xtrail. Love the space and comfort. Just wish it was diesel. One of my colleagues has the diesel, and the torque is so much stronger. Overtaking is a breeze compared to the petrol. But i guess i can't really complain, most of the other company vehicles are small, toyota hatchbacks 😎
It is true the problem with CVT is overheating, this car if you carry 5 people onboard and travell long journey you will start hearing the CVT starts whinning and the engine surge in power struggling to accelerate, and if you climb some little hills there is a lack of power.
The door handle cable will fly off - do not go to a fortune teller!

I have a t31 2.5l CVT that has towed 2ton for 4 hour in 40ºc no problems
