Today we have something a little different for y'all! In a battle between the great states of Arkansas and Tennessee, who builds the best boats overall? Tennessee's got legendary glass layers and let's not forget about that East Tennessee speed! BumbleBee in TN, bought out by Pheonix. Probably one of the best bang for the buck boats ever produced.
Shawnee/Supreme are flat bottom glass trout boats designed for the White river. They run in inches of water, plane out immediately, and drift straight in current.

I was in a BFL and the guy I fished with had a SeaArk and it sure reminded me of a BassCat. Felt like a sweet tin boat
Andy we sold AllWeld boats at our shop,pretty decent John boats made in Arkansas.They would pretty much make a guy whatever your little heart desired,lol.
F&F boats in Arkansas, used to make great tin boats. When the father died, the sons ran it into the ground. Now they’re no longer around.

Arkansas has a lot of duck hunters so that’s probably why there is so many aluminum boats coming out of there.

There was another in Elizabethton TN. Moodcraft they built 18' and the 23' f-23 stealth. Very small company built like the older bullet boats.
Now that their out of business the f-23 is a very sought after boat here in the northeast tip of the state. You'll see several on the lakes as they pass you at 90 mph
I remember seeing the Moodcraft boats online. The F23 looked like a Bullet XD stretched out. They must have been a small run of boats.
Whats your thoughts on Polar Craft? Their made in Indiana and a know a few guys that love their TX 195 pro bass boat. One piece aluminum bottom and big on using Suzuki motors.

Andy, love the video. I have a Ranger tin boat. RT178. Great fishing boat. I have had 2 Tracker 175 bass boats and can say Ranger makes them look bad. I mean bad. The seats are quality. The carpet and hardware is quality. The tracker is lighter and the wind grabs it. It is cheaper but as they say, you get what you pay for. I actually was going to buy a new tracker until I saw the Ranger RT178 sitting on the showroom floor at Toho Marine in St. Cloud Florida. It had a 60hp 4 stroke. A ultrex 80 pd. thrust trolling motor with a remote. It didn't need that big of a trolling motor but a guy ordered it that way. When the boat arrived at the dealership the guy couldn't come up with the money so they put it on the floor. It had a few bugs to work out like most new boats as I have had several over the years. I don't fish tournaments and am retired. (State Trooper). It runs around 35 mph. My wife loves it. End of story. If I was to get a big boat again as I have had several, it would probably be a Caymas 21 pro. I have watched so many big boat videos and feel that would be the best buy for me. It would take a Lottery win. lol. Just curious, what is your opinion of the Nitro Z21xl? I see a lot of them on the pro tournaments.

Allison does make a great boat but we just think they are so darn Fugly! And the Allison faithful are fun to pick on. Haha
You guys should check out Prodigy boats out of Arkansas definitely a tin boat manufacturer that i think makes a better looking boat than gatortrax they offer alot of diffrent hull types. Factory tour would be cool. .

I'd like to say Tennessee. I run a 1984 Bullet 19 Vee and constantly have people with a brand new rig run across the dock to check out the bullet. Best boat I've owned. Period. I live in Lafollette, home of Norriscraft. I haven't seen any new boats out there but used to have an open fisher Norriscraft and have been to their shop. Great boats, great family people. They still did repairs and custom work when I was in there

We used to only use PayPal and too many people were complaining about having to sign up for PayPal. Our payment service provider is Stripe now and it’s been headache free so far. We could enable the PayPal option alongside Stripe too

Excel builds boats in both TN and Ak. And the reason why Arkansas leads the industry in Tin is duck hunting boats. Duck hunting is huge in Arkansas. As Smallmouth fishing is big in Tennessee. Also when they closed the coal mines in TN the TVA show the people how to use Fiberglass that is why “Glass” boats are made in TN. Look at the boats that you left off, Pro craft, Vision, Winner, Challenger, all company that are gone but were built in TN.

Best Aluminum boat I’ll save last. Mon Ark loved that boat 16/54I have no clue who bought the company out. Super stable two people over 200 pounds. Tracker 14/42 not great for two guys 200 pounds. Another tracker a grizzly 16/52 nice nice. Alweld incredible boat loved it I wish I could of made a deal on that boat. Best all greatest tin boat Orlando Clipper. Best fiberglass bass boat. My friends dad had a Gambler no can I’m guessing the tuner was trimmed. sounded like a small block with an big ole Isky cam

I’m biased since I own a cat. Went from a ranger to a bass cat and couldn’t be happier.

Legend bass boat Arkansas built. Fit and finish was almost second to none. Sad moment when white river bought them out just to move the ranger facility there.
I have an 07 alpha199 and I will never get rid of it.

EagleCraft from campbell river is the standard for crew boats. Big, heavy, and tough
LifeTimer out of Duncan builds beautiful aluminum boats, I have a 1986 built 16' skiff. It's awesome
There's other builders too, Liquid Metal, JR marine, probably more

Do a video on these boats that have all digital dashes ranger has put an over ride switch why would you put an over ride switch in a boat are they having problems I do know some nitro boats are having problems can't get the live wells to work they are under warranty and bass pro is taking care of it

We could make an argument against Ranger still being as good as they used to be. We see new Rangers everyday with quality issues

@@TeamMarineService totally agree. I traded my Ranger in on a Bass Cat after only six months of ownership due to multiple issues. I was told all would be fixed under warranty but every time I turned around I was having to put my Ranger back in the shop for one thing or another. Very happy with my decision on the Bass Cat.

Stratos boats hasn’t been built for several years. Once White River bought them they decided to concentrate on their premier brands such as Ranger, Triton and Nitro. So Stratos is history.

My first boat was a Stratos 180VT
caught my PB 9.6 out of it. Got a Z21 last august caught my 2nd best 9.4
