@@Alex123321Alex123 hi. No I couldn’t find a good one. I want minimum 35 watt for each of les but only Chinese are above 35 watt. And all those Chinese corrupts after a year as I figured. I am still planning to install so looking for good leds :)
@@devrimarabalari thanks for getting back, ideally they should be 55w led each side, then maybe no canbus problem,. I'm not sure anyone has managed to do the led swap successfully, Ive spent many hours searching the internet for a working combination.
Hi Jack, got canbus load resistors for my C30 after installing LED headlights (dipped) they look the same as the link in this thread you posted but they don’t work. It still shows the bulb failure warning on the dash but the message blinks on and off. Any ideas, thanks. Supplier refunded and said Volvo has strong canbus system and no load resistors will work? Cheers bud.
Jack Evans I heard they get really hot yeah. Did you put them inside the headlight housing? I might just go back to halogens myself. The leds are pretty good but I can’t deal with the error message all the time. So In your video you didn’t originally get an error code. Did it only show up later? Thanks
@@crispinhurndall9911 did you sort it? I have 2005 S40. I put LEDs in as my halogen were so dim that I couldn't tell if they were on, really dangerous. I got the bulb out light, so bought resistor decoders and just like you the flashing warning light is driving me mad
@@WhenGamersGetAngry that would of been some good UA-cam content, the C30 is a gorgeous car, shame they stopped making them. it did not, the canbus adapters fixed the fault for me. They get very hot though so make sure they're in a position where they're unable to melt anything
yes buddy, I got mine from ebay. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/H7-LED-Headlight-Canbus-Error-Free-Warning-Resistors-Decoder-Anti-Flicker-set/253503866065?hash=item3b060204d1:g:fEMAAOSwFwNeE17R

Cracking video lad, I drive a c30 myself and I’ve spent loads on upgrades for my headlights, but nothing seems to work like these LED’s... just a quick question. Have you had any major issues leaving the back of the headlight exposed? I’m thinking of installing LED bulbs but I’m cautious about leaving the headlight open like that 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Old video now, but this is exactly what I needed, thanks!
thank you, admittedly I only needed to understand how to dismantle it. Good luck with everything and thank you
Nice Video, good to see you back on UA-cam Jack.
Awesome Video!🎥
The great Peugeot engine 💪🏻
Hi what kind of adapter did you use to install the LEDs?
What brand of tires are the ones on the thumbnail ?
Where did you get the air filter and is it pretty simple to do
It’s a ramair foam filter, you can get it on ALG performance for around £54 bud.
And yeah you just remove the old shitty paper filter and that goes into the original place of the old filter
What bulbs where they I can't seem to find a set that are bright enough and also don't trigger Cambus warnings
Nighteye
How did you fit rear covers back on headlights. Mine are 2008 model and covers won't go over fans on bulbs
I’ve a S40 2011. Good content for me. I am also planning to upgrade for led low beams. Keep it up bro 👍
Devrim Arabaları thank you buddy!
Did you do it? Was it successfull? And if it was, what combination of led and decoder did you use?

Hello Jack, just a quick one. how do you change the puddle lights?
my C30 does not have puddle lights, so I'd be unable to help you with that one, sorry.

Crispin Hurndall sensitive subject. My Ebay specials worked, but they got incredibly hot and melted through the headlights. I'm back to halogens now!

Awesome content! Are the led lights as good as a HID kit? You obviously don't need a Cambus for the LED lights so that's a bonus.
How big are your tires and wheels ? Thanks
