My collinite 845 has lasted 6 years and it's not even half used. Granted I only use it like twice a year. At this rate, it'll last me the rest of my life lol
Just bought some the other day before watching your video, but this stuff is amazing. I’d just clear coated, wet sanded, polished and finished it with this stuff. It looks better now than the factory paint.
OMG - that’s absolutely amazing....... It wipes on, you polish it off and it’s........ exactly the same as everything else out there! I must rush out and get some. Every new product is hyped as the Nirvana of car detailing and it will last 27 years before you have to reapply. It will bead water for the rest of your life, will repel dirt like a Jedi disposes of droids and you can apply it to a 52 foot bus with no effort and faster than Usain Bolt can run 100m. The truth is they’re all the bloody same and need reapplying several times a year. Save your money, buy one you like and stick with it!
Looks like a solid and user friendly option from Meguiars, very forgiving and a smooth surface left behind. I'm curious to see how durable/long lasting it is compared to other offerings from the competition.
I did three coats of it back in June. Top it off with the spray version when I powerwash once every couple weeks, just spray and rinse. Still looks brand new and perfect water beading.

The Meguiar’s liquid hand applied is far better than the spray and rinse product which I used and found didn’t cover regardless of how much you applied. Returned spray, used polish and clay bar to remove spray coat. Applied liquid like Jimbo.
Used this as a base coat waited two days wiped paint with detail spray and topped with Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic spray wax. Black truck looks better than new. Hope I get the best of both product lines.
bought this at Walmart for first try with ceramic. had similar suprise to vid both as to ease of application and buffing. Never ever have had anything this easy to buff off. Produces very decent shine on my 2008 F350. Hard to believe anything this thin in application will be durable--will see. comment below says it's durable for months. Only disadvantage so far, its expensive--only $20 but it takes a fair amount of product in this small bottle to apply. One bottle per truck--maybe a little more.
First time I used this it was an absolute pain to buff off which happens if you use even a bit too much. Used it again recently after clay bar etc used much less of it and it came out great. Hydropbic coat is still going strong after a month.
John Avi don’t use any of these, pay $500 get a true coating. And enjoy! I did. Love the 2 min pressure wash, then ONR, wipe down with Bead Maker, perfect car/truck!
Looking at the Meguiar’s forum I would recommend Meguiar’s m27 over this product. M27 is better in every way since it’s part of their professional line.

I have been detailing aircraft for 20 years .and I have been using Mcguire Ceramic coating for the last year and a half detailing cars plus my own car And I would. Paint correction clay Bar Compounding And ceramic Coat. And I get a lot of compliments from people a car shows

Rich Hodge Meguiar’s states that the m27 is even easier to apply than this product. It beats it also in gloss and durability from meguiars. I’d rather go for m27 even if it’s a bit more expensive like 8 bucks more

I have a bunch of paste waxes and sealants but honestly I'm lazy as hell LOL turtle wax seal and shine and the ice spray wax has been my go to. No point the extra effort and for worser longevity then a spray Wax 😅😅
Music While Gaming I agree, but it also depends on how you want your car to look like. All protections require paint prep from what I’ve learned. However, you’re right turtle wax is a good product, ease of application, and nice durability for the money. Best sealant out there.

Yes it 100 percent will. If talking about the bottle that says Boat /RV soap. It gets all the fallout off but in turn takes off wax. That's when I use it. When it's time to strip whatever is on my car

Well if any of the products tested in that way were Ceramic..they will spot. Ceramic coating and products are known for their weakness to water spotting
Adams Ceramics Wax for price and equal test. Since to me there marketed at the same? Last car I did was my parents 11 Camaro SS Orange. I used (testing it) Turtle wax hybrid solutions polish and I topped it off with Adams (had 3 day cure on it). Its been on there car for well over 30 days now and 3 car washes later and it still feels smooth af and beading like a champ. Bipolar weather of Portland, OR area (mix of cold, freezing, deicer, rain, etc).
I’m a big fan of meguiars and I’ve used the chemical guys products (not a fan). I would really like to see how it holds up against the infamous turtle wax seal and shine.
The point is how long it lasts and how well it protects from the Sun, how many car washes it lasts, etc. Water beading is irrelevant, I thought the idea is to protect tbe color and impress with a shine.
My cheap butt bought the paste instead of the spray bottle. Saved a whopping $6 bucks. I already have their detailer I wanted to try something new and this is not much work over the spray bottle.

I just applied this stuff to a small test section on some poor quality, 22 year old paint. Not impressed... It did nothing to bring back a shine like the traditional waxes I tested did. Maybe it works well on newer paint that is in good shape but if you’re looking to restore shine to dull paint, go with something else. Smells great though!
The point of water beading is so water beads together and runs easily off the surface. This is supposed to avoid creating water spots from water that dries on the surface
@@eliasgutierrez6789every comparison out there shows the water bead effect and sure its easier to leave nil water mark which you would normaly dry off but the best comparison should be sheen effect and how the product makes the paint pop
It seems that Jimbo tests products that perform mediocre on his channel, but other big name detailing channels test the same products and they perform amazing. I feel he doesn’t truly know what he’s doing.

Turtle Wax Ice seal and shine is long lasting. Beads water for months. Super easy on and off. Low price with high quality results.

Too much beading forms water spots if exposed to sunlight.
What is the preferred alternative to "too much beading"?
I'm using megs or tw cleaner wax to removes that waterspots continue with another liquid or spray wax for boost the gloss and durability

Maybe it works well on newer paint that is in good shape but if you’re looking to restore shine to dull paint, go with something else. Smells great though!

I'm Sick of water beading the product should be more based on sheen and how it brings the paind out not how water beads
The point of water beading is so water beads together and runs easily off the surface. This is supposed to avoid creating water spots from water that dries on the surface
@@eliasgutierrez6789every comparison out there shows the water bead effect and sure its easier to leave nil water mark which you would normaly dry off but the best comparison should be sheen effect and how the product makes the paint pop

It seems that Jimbo tests products that perform mediocre on his channel, but other big name detailing channels test the same products and they perform amazing. I feel he doesn’t truly know what he’s doing.
