For me, as a new player too (fifth gen only), it certainly "easy" to use with simple moveset and because the weapon itself doesn't really have that much "feature", but to master it kinda hard (so is every weapon), the only feature is the switch ofc, know when to switch to use the axe or the sword, but sadly your defensive thing is only dodging so some people kinda need to use Evade Window.

Noob MHW Player here.... is the switch axe hard to learn. I am busy grinding a bit of postgame Highrank before i start Iceborne.
As a switch axe main, it's not too hard to learn. For me, the hardest thing was getting the hang of how it swings and when to use ZSD -all the time-

@@iqbalrahman2911 Yeah i've been running LS mainly with Hammer in between. Was getting into Charge blade but Switch axe looks damn cool aswell
