Now, 75 years later, we salute those who gave their life's. Every year this music is played in front of the eyes of the veteran paratroopers. May we forever remeber those men. God bless all of them and those who sacrefised themselves for the freedom of others.
My father was one of them, he was Irish, but he served in a Polish regiment. ( Something with Irish politics and IRA, so he had to leave the country in a bit of a hurry, and ended up in Poland. ) He jumped at Arnheim and got shot, survived and was nursed by a young girl who became my mother. I do long runs like 10- marathon miles listening to bagpipes makes me feel like I’m invincible because I run when everyone is asleep and in my mind if you hear bagpipes from a guy running blasting that sound you might think twice. I also run with mi blade and gear I would recommend running to this type of music it’s cool

Yes, I am mostly English but am part Scottish, Irish, and a little Welsh. When I hear bagpipes, or military music from the British Isles such as marching tunes. I get goosebumps and can feel it inside of me almost.
