- Thanks to this quick tutorial you can easily access hidden service menu of your Audi A2, A3 8L or A4 B5 Climatronic. In this secret diagnostic menu you can find battery voltage, car speed, engine RPM counter, sensors readout, DTCs and much more.

I tried this on an Audi A2 (build in June 2005) and unfortunately, this did not work. Audi must have changed something with regards to this secret menu.

It’s in the dash display. You can use the button on the side of the wiper stalk to cycle through range, average mpg and actual current mpg

Most likely broken display or flex cable.

Da ieri non sento più funzionare la ventola. La cosa strana è che quando regolo la potenza nel display aumentano le tacche ma dopo un po’ diminuiscono e aumentano da sole senza che la ventola si azioni mai. Cosa sara’?
(Ti aggiungo che quello che fai tu nel video con il mio non si accede a quel menu’). Ho un Audi A2 del 2005

+Gerardo Perez those are diagnostic readouts, same as data blocks in VCDS. Most of it (if not all) can not be adjusted.

mr-fix it is a 2001 model, this firmware, can u update it or something like this. Can i run some kind of test to see if it has this functionality? thx againe
Mocanu Radu Bogdan, I didn't find anything about changing Climatronic firmware. Most likely there were no critical bugs that need to be fixed, so there's no update. That's what I guess.
This hidden menu has the same (if not less) functionality as diagnostic software (VAG-COM, VCDS, VAS) that you connect with with car using the OBD2 port. And since software/firmware update would have to be performed with such diagnostic tool (or even more expensive and powerful), then you could as well just check those parameters.
But again, this is just me.

Arrow up - windscreen wend (defrost)
Rectangle shape - headroom vent (main front)

Most likely your engine is going into limp home mode, because it detects some kind of problem. It would be a good idea, to run a full diagnostic scan on the car, to see what is causing that.

I have tried 51 coolant temperature it’s showing maximum 75 C . Temperature gauge showing 90 why so different?
Kind of a late reply, i am trying to diagnose this issue myself. I heard it could be a thermostat issue. Did you manage to solve it?
In my car I have on 51 75C too. I think actually the coolant temperature is 49

El_Skippy IMHO - none.
Most of those functions are just readouts from various sensors in your car. Even if you select channel that can be adjusted by Climatronic buttons - if will go back to default after turning the car off and on again.
