Celestial Astronomy is a very interesting subject if understood in a correct way. The teachers are responsible in a big way to make it interesting or otherwise. Even the non mariners might find this subject interesting. Capt. S.S. Chaudhari, who has been teaching the subject for last 30 years, works on this series of videos to share his knowledge and motivate the young marines. In this video he explains the cause of Venus being seen either in the morning skies or in evening skies, in a simple way.

Good evening SIr.if the gyrocompass is tuned schuler tuning there is no N/S speed error.the is only damping error.

N/S speed error is corrected by latitude and speed correctors not the Schuler tuning. ST balances error no 3 & 4.
