Its not a copy paste, its much better, more energy retention, better round velocity, more durability.
i would disagree on the durability.
Yeah, not a copy paste, just a 262 made by kindaped Germans.
In a book about Russian aircraft I found the quote : "development of the Su-9 was stopped in favour of the MiG-9, the main cause for this decision by higher authority being that the Sukhoi jet fighter resembled the Me 262 too closely !" "..national prestige in aircraft development would suffer in consequence".

That's a strange opinion, provided USSR wasn't very concerned about literally copy and pasting the B-29. You sure there wasn't another reason anywhere ? I remember reading the project has been shut down due to the absence of the engines required for it
@@lapantony I just quoted form the book, this is not my opinion. In it I couldn't find any reference to the engines not being available. Besides the engines in the Su-9 were the same as in the MiG 9 which did enter production. For your interest, the title of the book : 'Russian civil and military aircraft 1884-1969' edited by Fountain Press ltd of London. First published in 1971.
@@bartenveronique Oh, you mean the Su-9. I meant the engine problem for Su-11 only. Sorry about that misunderstanding

Since the Su11 was on sale recently I picked this up. However, before I go into action I needed to rewatch this video. A bit of classroom time will help me RTB successfully.

The 37 fires a little too fast strafing in ground RB, but maybe thats since I haven't unlocked the upgraded guns on the su-9. I do enjoy the 37s on the la-200 for knocking out engines and crew compartments

Was in a round last night in f84b, (good for first strike) killed a single ground target then turned around and reset for dogfighting. After a while of making BnZ passes, I made a head on pass with a Su-11 at about 1k. I was going around 500 mph. The Su-11 does a 180 degree turn after we cross, and immediately starts reeling me in. Was some of the most OP shit I've ever seen in low tier jets.

IMO the Su-9 is the copypaste Me-262, and this is closer to a Meteor, yeah

Surprisingly no one mentioned wing ripping except you - pretty usefull and appretiated. Kind of ballancing issue in my opinion. Well, Su-11 sooner or later will sit a bit higher at BR 7,3 - 7,7. 940 km/h jet regularly facing props like F7F (what is this sad bird supposed to do at such MM?) isn´t fair.
yep true that. I guess i find these things out because i do extensive test flying, to get my data for the review.

Love the thing to death but I feel sorry for the Su-9 pilots at the same BR with literally a 50% difference in engine power.

Really refreshing point of view you have on gaijin and war thunder, I think comes with age. I try to do the same thing, dont get to concerned with the nonsense they pull. End of the day its a game, their game and they will do whatever they want with it. They're a company that emulate the mobile game/games as a service buisness model so I wouldnt hold out any hope for them.
Keep up the good content though!

The good old m4 fl10 is even worse, better than the supersherman, half the reload speed and 0.3 br lower

Is it good in ground rb
It only has a few bomb options, so it can do a job, it also has large caliber gun, that can shoot the armoured target belt. So ye, this plane can definitely do damage in GRB.

This beauty should never see guided missile BR. Where Kika sits at 6.7, no BR changes is necessary for SU-11.
