I never met anyone that wrote out the Bible. I plan to write out the Psalms and I was questioning myself . Now watching you, I am encouraged. Thanks Cat.
Hi sweet Cat! I have been in my cuddle KJV Bible, which is fairly old, since hubby passed away in March. I have been reading & mostly absorbing God's precious Word. I have my beautiful decorated pink Bible & purple Bible that was a gift from sister a few years ago very close to me. I've just been clinging to my cuddle Bible for some reason. God has blessed me with amazing peace & comfort over hubby's passing and has blessed me in ways I never expected! Your handwriting in your Bible is amazing! That will be an awesome heritage to leave for your family. I've been a little upset that I'm no longer to do my Scripture Writing. Nerve damage in my right hand has worsened & I have a lot of pain now. I'm still struggling with spine problems but trusting God for His will, not the surgeons, be done. I'll be 66 on the 10th! Can't believe I'm this old already!! You are such an encouragement for those of us who love the Lord and His Word. May God continue to bless you always! Hugs from VA! ❤️🩹 🙏📖 ✝️
I'm so sorry for your lost my dear sweet sister. I am proud of you for not giving up and keeping yourself clinging to the Lord. May God continue to bless you abundantly in all future endeavors. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers always 🙏🏻 💞
It's wonderful that you are giving your handwritten Bibles to your love ones. I can tell by your writing that this is very dear to your heart. Keep up the great work!
It's amazing what you're doing for your children, writing out scripture! I have been reading my bibles for decades, but only learned about "Bible Journaling" since 2018. I have loved it so much since then! However, at my age my hands are becoming more and more arthritic, and I am having more and more trouble writing. So, I now use an old 1950's typewriter to type out verses and notes to add to my bibles. I love doing this, and it's easier on my hands to type than to write. PS: some days my typing is perfect, and other days I make some mistakes... it seems to be when I'm more tired, or in more of a hurry. Relax and enjoy whatever way you interact with your bibles, and with our Lord!
This has been such an encouragement to me. I have read the Bible through and study God's word daily but find the practice or writing out one word at a time so enriching and it has offered me new insights by slowing down. Thanks!
I believe this is a wonderful idea. I've been working on copying the Bible since about 2020. I have a NKJV verse by verse Bible I am using to work from. I have collected quite a bit of journals in my life that have sat empty. My goal is to fill them all with God’s word. Some for my children and gifts. But earlier this year, it was on my heart to have them finished for the possibility of the world removing God's word! Hoping journals will be overlooked. I genuinely just love writing the Lord's word. I love how it helps my memory and motor skills also. It is amazing how minimal the mistakes are, I see that as God is with me helping my hand! I enjoy your videos and your creativity! Nice to have like-minded people! Have a beautiful day!
Yes my handwriting changes and also my crochet and knitting change. I don’t know why and I don’t think you can do anything about it. Well done for keeping your lines straight!
I was going to ask you for advise on how to write without misspelling or preventing handwriting changing lol mine never looks the same! Lol I am going to start practicing in a spiral notebook writing the psalms and keep at it until I get more confident with my spelling and taking it slow. Also, Crossway changed their leather again 😢 You recently reviewed one of their bibles (can’t remember which one) but it was the new leather and you commented on the stiffness. I purchased a new interleaved and the leather is so thick and stiff that they no longer lay flat 😢 So just a heads up, I was able to find one on eBay with the old leather. And I’m tempted to make a video comparing the two but It would be the one and only video I’ve ever made on UA-cam lol
I am writing out the Bible as well but I can’t write that small. I do use similar size pens. I am using Scripture Journals which have a larger font. I’m in Acts at the moment. I use it as a way to get the word into my heart.
No it's too difficult to find a good red pen and I would hate to start and not be able to continue. But maybe if I can find a good one from the line I enjoy I have no problem purchase several dozen at a time
My handwriting changes every time I sit down to write even if it is just an hour has gone by. My hands are tired or I am tired, life happens and things change.

I started copying my KJV in 2017 February. I'm still working on it not in any hurry..

Which of the two Bibles (nkjv, esv) do you like the best as far as paper quality/thickness, bleed through etc?
I’m curious if you plan to use red ink in the NT portion of the NKJV Bible when you are writing it out…
