Thank you so much for showing these. I'm really short and don't weigh that much at all, Ive been looking at crank stands but these seem better. Wow your my hero for showing these!! Brad from RDE
I saw these at MBLV and they are great products. I met the guy who made them and he takes pride in his work. If you do not already have speaker stands or you need new ones consider these!
I did a video back in August on these. I can't recommend them enough. It's a little high for me in it's lowest position so I follow a method you showed a long time ago by putting them on the ground and then tilting them up.
@MegaCallum98 It's a hydrolic shock inside the stand weight balanced for the weight of your speakers (provided you buy the right stand for the weight of your speaker)
yah, I have seen both, and used both, but the frankenstands are easier to use, I own the telelock, and I am happy with them, easy for me I'm 6'1 and i have no problem with them. It would be cool to see these used for lighting, with truss possibly.
great vid brian!!im impressed with these things ,the reason being is ive been djing in my house for about 7 years and would like to get a p.a. system and start doing mobiles, btw, what do you think a good mobile dd package would run me?Please reply ,thank you -DJ skiz markey P.S>thanks for the tip about speaker height placement, very helpful
@FunkyRob, Oh, Sorry, I meant Brian's video where he showed that method of tilting them up. I've already watched your Frankenstand Video a few times :)
After you've had thoes budget stands fail on you once or twice (broken collars, legs, etc) a quality Pro stand dosen't seem like such a bad idea. I've bought 3 sets of "brand X" because of breakage in the past 2 years. Could have bought a pair of these WITH the bag for less :)
hey brian the is DJ Newcom I am in the buying stage my behringer speakers busted the 1st day. I was hooping you wood make a video on your JBLJRX speakers? I want to find out somemore about them . Thanks for tacking the time to read this.
Just to let you know: Ultimate have stands like this as well. I guess especially in Europe, I don't know for sure. Both great products if you got the money to spend
Dang, it took me 12 years to respond to this - ha the Ultimate TS100 ARE Frankenstands - actually they are the first stands I made when I started, Ultimate and I had a business agreement to OEM their TS80 to make the very first Frankenstands. When the company was sold, I moved on to my own production.
i have 2 DAP audio mc-12 the are about 18kg and my stands are the K&M 21435 ther max 35kg the are great no more messing around with a loos safty pin thees have a butten pin
you probably dont care but if you're bored like me during the covid times you can watch pretty much all of the latest series on Instaflixxer. Been streaming with my brother lately =)
@PolishGuy89 gotcha. Had a hard time finding it. Very simple, same idea but open tripod legs while speaker is laying on the floor. /watch?v=ANvkXoGFF_0
@PolishGuy89 oh, gotcha. /watch?v=ANvkXoGFF_0 Same Idea, but open tripod legs and lock them and insert pole into speaker hole while speaker is laying on it's side.
Yeah well, I try. Never told you something was good & it turned out to be crap, though. I'll only show you good stuff. I'll leave the rubbish to someone else:)
My Frankenstands and carrying bag will be here tomorrow for my Mackie SRM-15 V-Class Speakers….Thank you for the review Sir!!!!
Dr. Frankenstand is the nicest guy! I remember talking to him for a while. I have got to get these.
Thank you so much for showing these. I'm really short and don't weigh that much at all, Ive been looking at crank stands but these seem better. Wow your my hero for showing these!!

A pneumatic damper, simple and brilliant idea.

very nice and neat also easy to do
These are very cool! Gotta get me some as they would make the set up so much easier.
you should do a contest or something for the old stands...
Wow, those are really convenient. Definitely going to read more into them.

Very cool. I've seen the ones that come down ez, but not these ones that go UP ez. Very cool! Thanks for sharing.

Dude thanx for the vid. Big fan
Thats a great idea.. Much easier to set up
Thoes F3 models are probably just what you need. Check the website in the discription for more info :)
How did you raise them after you un-loosened (tightened ) them ???
Excellent product!
It would be cool if they made poles only - for guys who use subs.
I don't see a problem with you saying "uhh" too much either!
I'm thinking a good starter package these days with decent stuff should run you between 2-3K if you shop right.
The F3 should take care of thoes. A little tough to get up there in the first place, but it can be done
very cool idea

I really like them!!!!
great vid

Need light trees? They make a t-bar adapter for that purpose as well :)
You should put it as a video response.

I have got to get some of .
They're not powered as the title suggests. They just move up and down hydraulically.
very nice,, thanks for the review Brian
Brian IT'S ALIVE, IT"S ALIVE!!!
Ultimate has the same thing, air powered stands, and I use the telelock, much easier for me.
Not the same. Ultimate use to make them for Frankenstand then decided to try thier own with cheaper hardware, bad weight ratios, etc.
Just to let you know: Ultimate have stands like this as well. I guess especially in Europe, I don't know for sure.

I use Bose L1's- no need for speaker stands. Yeah!!!!
@PolishGuy89 oh, gotcha. /watch?v=ANvkXoGFF_0
Same Idea, but open tripod legs and lock them and insert pole into speaker hole while speaker is laying on it's side.
