    Yeah clave is very important. That's thing that make me work listening the golpes of the clave to realize where to get into the pattern. You make easy. Some people they just talk a lot. Some people seems like they just want to show their abilities.

    Do you always use a Quinto as your main drum when you play?

    With 3 drums I usually go for quinto in High E at the center, conga on my right at C₄, and tumba on my left at G, the trick is to move the tres golpes strokes to the right drum, and use the quinto to add repiques when it's their time, for the "bombo" I do a dry palm bass, as it closes the circle better and gives the dancers that pause from the open tones
