I love that moment when Amenadiel notices the pain Lucifer's going through as he tries to light the sword... looking at the evolution of their relationship since the pilot episode, it's so beautiful that they've come to this new point. They were at such at odds in season 1 that Amenadiel from that time point would never have noticed such a thing, and Lucifer wouldn't have been willing to even go there with his emotions. So it really shows how they're both growing as characters. That's so cool. ❤ It's a tribute to the writing as well. Rather than keeping their dynamic the same all the time (the two of them fighting and loathing one another), they're moving them both forward, bit by bit. I love that.
The pain on Lucifer's face when he makes the blade light up always breaks my heart, and Amenadiel seeing Lucifer crying, and protecting him when their mother pushes him too hard just always warms my heart. There IS brotherly love there, and he does care about Lucifer... it's just a complicated relationship with a lot of hurt, jealousy and resentment having festered and created a barrier between them. Trixie opening up to Chloe, and Chloe helping her work through it, and establishing that they never have to pretend with each other is also such an amazing moment. She is truly an amazing mom, and I LOVE their relationship. I basically just love Trixie full stop, because she is amazing with Lucifer, Maze, Dan, Amenadiel... you name the character, their scenes with Trixie will be amazing if they have any 🧡
They literally explained in this episode, _repeatedly_ how they were going to get into heaven without wings. The Flaming Sword can cut through the gates of heaven. As in: it can be used to access that dimension directly, rather than going "the long way around". Like, how do you think people get to heaven or hell when they die without wings? It's not the only way to get there. It's metaphysical destination; it's not like it's at a set altitude or something.
It's taken me years to finally appreciate all the great humor in this episode. For the longest time, the state of Lucifer & Chloe's bollixed romance was all my poor little Deckerstar heart could focus on.
Sorry but you are wrong. S3 E25 and 26 are from Fox for S4, but Fox cancelled the show after the finale of S3 (24). I could tell you how to know it but then i would have to spoil the finale.
@@lf7jl show creators retconned the episodes. And have said thats where it goes now Edit to add: Tvline has the interview. Which asked where do the episodes go. Boo going after highschool. And once upon staying where it is as a great in between seasons episode. Which is now recognized as the correct timeline
I always put the Boo episode after S3E13 so i doesn't interrupt the next story arch. Watching it after the season finale just breaks the flow completely.
"You can't control your emotions. You can only run from them or go through them." I wish someone told my own father that. Growing up, he expressly would tell me that if someone or something hurt me (emotionally), it was "because I let them" and I should just not let them. It was his way of shirking responsibility when he'd make his son (me...obviously) cry. Because if someone's emotions are under their control, then you can say and do anything to them and it's THEIR fault for feeling anything about it. (There's a reason I cut him out of my life when I turned 18...that was only part of it). Emotions evolved to guide our behavior towards survival and away from danger, without taking the time to analyze the situation (which would be too slow and get us killed). They are subconscious and motivate our behavior strongly. Anyone who thinks emotions can just be chosen and controlled like that is clueless (or perhaps sociopathic, if they can control theirs). All we can do is control how we respond to our emotions, and whether we stick around in situations that cause them.
So you are unable to reframe, or change your interpretations of external events? Just blown around like a leaf are you? Ever heard of meditation? Of stepping back from yourself and observing your thoughts and emotions? You know, if you choose not to let an emotion completely control you, but just notice it, acknowledge it, and then let it go, well another one come along very quickly. Thoughts and emotions never stop coming. So are they driving your bus, or are you?
I finally put my space heater away a month ago. Have had a fan going now 24/7. Air conditioner most of the time. Under 70 F and my lower legs and feet freeze and over 72 F, the rest of my is sweating like crazy, Very small comfy range. See you next time, "Same Bat-Time, Same Bat-Channel, and hang on to those questions."
Just a small comment. That disruption of the clips with the Lucifer logo in between all the time is very annoying to watch in my opinion. I never had this feeling before so I guess something changed from earlier episode reactions? Otherwise, nice reactions as always.

100% agree!
“And my dad is Morgan Freeman” love that line 😂
I didn't realize what that meant until later🤣🤣
Close enough

There isn't a traditional safety on a Glock (Chloe's gun). The safety is on the trigger and only prevents the gun from going off when dropped.
Pretty sure it was confirmed in a con question. Trixie got to drive the car
Just a note. An episode of season 3 is out of order. S3 E25 goes between S3 E 15 and E16

@@captbunnykiller1.0 I do think the once upon is a good lead up to season 4. Much like city of angels is during the mid season.

My grandparents offered to send me to private school - for many, _many_ reasons I said no...
*Every* scene with Trixie is a win. Shame the actress had a better opportunity and spent so much time away from the show.
1st here!!! I love your content mam!! 😍🥰🤩💖 & Absolutely love your hair!!
Seconded!

Yep. My original files were deleted and I had to work off the full episode watch along. The logo covered the time stamp.
How are you Anna and I still got the t.v shows if you wanna write them down
When God and the Godess meet and destroy each other, would that be good for humanity ?
NO ! So pray that they will never meet !!! 👱♀😶🌫 💣 🗺
