- This video shows the installation of an air conditioner of 12000 Btu / h (3.5 kW) LG ART COOL Gallery Inverter, superb, where you can customize the image on it, if you want to change or renew, the picture can be changed.
The codes of the units are MA12R (MA12AH1) MU2R15 (MU2M15)
The installation is done in a very nice optics store where a special design of the indoor unit was required for air conditioning and top specifications.
This model is rewarded with design awards from Good Design, IF Design and Reddot.

I used 4 of these LG art gallery models in my home. The traditional bar models were to long to give me the required air flow spacing on either side so we installed these instead. Although the SEER is slightly lower than other BAR models these units work great and have a variety of options for air quality other than just heating and cooling. Highly recommend these. We have (2) 12k units & (2) 9k and our 1500sqft home is perfectly conditioned! I did notice in the video the wall units were installed very high to the ceiling which according to the installation manual requires a certain minimum (20-24”) spacing from air flow obstruction. What do I know though….
If they were going to put the wall paper in the frame, they should've taken the matte out, or even better, they could have wall papered the entire front of the glass, and just leave a hole for the remote sensor.
When it's on I have to keep open or close?
Does this work with the LG thing app? I can’t figure out how to connect the artcool gallery to the app
Hi, first of all, you must check the model of the equipment, if the model is A09FT or A12FT, you have the Wi-Fi module embedded and can connect it, if it is MA09R or MA12R, you must purchase this module separately. Any other code cannot connect to Wi-Fi.

I own one. The last owners had the unit from the roof ripped off around some other cables. It didn't suffer too much damage so i tried to mount it with a friend of mine. The Ac from the house now is turning on and it pumps cold air for about 1 minute. Then the light starts lickering for a couple of seconds and the ac shuts down. Why does that happen? We have no idea and we would like some help please.

This is in Europe dude, the walls are not made out of cardboard, it's all either concrete or clay block. You just drill a hole and screw things to the wall itself.
It's a shame that they don't have pre-charged lines like Mr Cool. This would be a great as a do it yourself like Mr Cool
Does it need specific outdoor unit or it can work with any LG outdoor unit?
As a single split, the outdoor unit is A09FT and A12FT, and in multisplit systems it goes with all multisplit outdoor units (MU2R15, MU2R17, MU3R19, MU3R21, MU4R25, MU4R27, MU5R30, MU5R40 and also FM40/41AH, FM48/49AH and FM56/57AH).

if they had recessed units to fit between studs itd look ten times better. even if they were longer and still extended past the flush area. but it could eliminate the flaps and vent directly through the sides like ports. i still like them. but theyre awful bulky.
I don’t think u can recess it to much from the air blows out the sides

This is beautiful.. love the wall picture. However I do prefer the easy installation of Mr. Cool DIY UNITS 😁😇
What outdoor temperature can this effectively heat down to, as in realistically - because it snows a lot where we are. The Mr Cool Universal can do -11 and proven to do it well, what can this realistically do
We’ve had -18°C and LG was fine for heating. The technician told us they can do -25° but they don’t have the guarantee from the manufacturer but real experience.
can it blow only from one side ?
Hi, 3way airflow, only down in Jet COOL, only sideways in SLEEP Mode, but not just one side. The manufacturer specifies minimum distances from the side so as not to influence the cooling power.
Does anyone know if it has built in condensate pump?

Looks silly mounting a "picture" near the ceiling, I think that is more noticeable then the regular box type unit. With the units mounted so high to the ceiling how is service performed and monthly cleaning of the filter?
WTF is a monthly cleaning of the filter? Dude, do you live in a coal mine? You clean an AC like this once a year at most.

Just had this model installed. Also curious about ThinQ. It seemed like it should have it from looking online but can't get it to connect pressing the buttons next to the temp down arrow. I hear 2 beeps after 3 seconds but there's no display to show a wifi signal. Any tips?
