As a milan fan hearing that Pulisic was joining was so reliving after his chelsea season, since he is my favorite American player I look forward to where his career goes from now
Ever since forever - the year 2004, when Milan won their 6th CL title, having the best players on the planet, and Chelsea began buying success thanks to the Russian Tzar, Abramovich - Chelsea has been, is & will remain THE BIGGEST GRAVEYARD FOR THE BEST PLAYERS FROM AROUND EUROPE, ESPECIALLY CLASSIC STRIKERS! The ratio of great players turning into even greater or remain great, compared to the ones who have buried their carers forever, or almost buried it, having the luck to get back to the surface is literally 1 to 10!!! Milan has been, IS & WILL BE GRANDE MILAN, The best club, for whom, only Real can say it has done something more (although, no club in Europe has beaten Real more than AC Milan in direct face offs, ever since both clubs exist! Milan is a club that has won their first CL title, back in 1962...., and less than 20 years ago no one even knew what Chelsea is. Won't even mention Man-City!
I think, as a Arsenal fan you should do a video on how underrated trossard is this season. 80% conversion rate and averages a goal a game very impressive.
Watching Puli coming in for Chelsea and instantly inspire some sort of offense that was lacking at all other times and still not getting starter minutes was wild to watch. He needed to transfer because Chelsea clearly didn't want him at that point. I'm glad Chelsea is in poor form now.
AC Milan is a great place for him. I remember when he was at Dortmund when they would attack up the middle he would shine as it would open up wing space for his runs. It just creates more chances for assists if he can run into space. AC Milan loves the middle of the pitch on the attack. Even better they do a lot of the high press where a really quick player can be an asset as he rushes passes and generates turnovers.
As a guy who also grew up in Central PA like Pulisic I'm so thrilled to have learned about how his playing opportunities have changed dramatically for all the reasons you so clearly lay out. Thanks for putting this great video together.
As a Chelsea fan, I'm so happy Puli is back up to his best at Milan. Watching his last season with us was excruciating. The worst part was seeing how other Chelsea fans would trash talk him so much and say that he is below average, when the real problem is the team as a whole. The way he fits in so well with Giroud and Leao in that front line is fantastic to see as a USMNT fan as well. Hope he has many successful years at Milan.
wonderfull video but i think pulisic has gotten way way better than he was at chelsea but he made an insane comeback in milan also in the usa national team
Honestly I disagree… he’s been this good the whole time. I think he is just showing what happens when a great player at an unhealthy club that had 5 managers in 3 years gets game time at a healthy one.
I went to the USA v Germany game I got front row seats and pulisic scored right in front of me if u look at the clip there is a sign that says Haller and u will see a kid with an American flag next to the sign jump up and down after he scores that’s me
I’m actually happy that the LeBron James of soccer is now firing on all cylinders at AC Milan. At Borussia Dortmund Christian Pulisic was a raw player who wasn’t the finished product as we saw glimpses of how good he can be at his full potential and he was a very promising player there and for the USA national team he’s the talisman for his country boasting a great scoring record for the national team and is very productive for his country. He eventually made a big money move to Chelsea and while he had his moments there he was relatively inconsistent and I felt like he made a move that was just too premature in my opinion. For his development he could’ve either joined another club or stayed at Borussia Dortmund for a little longer and even if his debut season at Chelsea worked out very well for him their managerial changes didn’t help him at all as injuries affected his performances and he was unable to establish himself as a regular starter. In the 20/21 season when they won the Champions League he shown for them when it mattered the most and he had some good periods throughout the season I just don’t think he really got any sort of momentum form or consistency going for him at Chelsea. He wasn’t the Eden Hazard replacement that fans thought he would be and there are a lot of reasons why his stint at Chelsea didn’t work out and I don’t blame him at all because as I’ve said before and I’ll say it again “how many attacking players actually improve at Chelsea”. Not many in the last 6 years I cannot think of an attacker that has gotten better while being at Chelsea despite the fact that they had success in winning premier league champions league titles and other trophies. Obviously he could’ve done more at Chelsea but at least he won a champions league title there which is the pinnacle of any player’s career in club football just club level alone.
As an Ac Milan and USA fan, I hope he stays at Milan forever lol He is vital to the current project and so he can grow as a player while helping the club get back to the glory days, Milan is the biggest club in Europe next to RM there is no reason for him to return to the premier league. I had wanted Pulisic at Milan for years and when I heard he was talking to them I knew he would fit right in, couldn’t be more excited to watch Milan games now!
I have always believed that Pulisic can become a world class player and im glad he chose AC Milan i never wanted him to go to a mid table team im glad he went to a legendary team
As a chelsea fan we wasted Pulisic he is so talented and carried us through the 19/20 season but unfortunately tuchel preffered Hakim Ziyech and even played pulisic at wing back in some games. i really want to see pulisic do well at ac milan because he really deserves it and we have already seen what he can do when he has confidence and has been guaranteed a starting position. Once again great video nabhuto and can u do the fall of aubameyang he was arsenals star striker for 2 years 2018-2020 then he moved to barcelona and was good there but Barcelona bought Robert Lewandowski and he was always going to be the star striker so Aubameyang went to his former clubs london rivals Chelsea where his form dipped and after a dissapointing season with Chelsea ( only scoring 3 goals 2 against Ac milan and 1 against crystal palace) he went to Marseille and is so far not doing that well
At AC Milan Christian Pulisic is resurrecting his career in Serie A. It shouldn’t be a surprise that he’s doing so well at AC Milan because he has been given more playing time and you see how comfortable he looks on this team with a very good run in the side and the positive thing about this is that so far he’s been relatively healthy injuries have been a problem throughout his career but has done a better job with his fitness in Milan. More importantly he’s producing better performances so far there as he has 4 goals and a couple of assists in Serie A. AC Milan is the perfect fit for Christian Pulisic his biggest problem has been consistency as he has lacked that in his game and we saw these problems at Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea and now that he’s producing at Milan the trend of his inconsistency should change there assuming he avoids injuries and a bad run of form. This is something that has been very noticeable with ex Chelsea forwards they struggle at their club and once they leave Chelsea they regain form elsewhere and I don’t know if the issue is the player or the atmosphere around the club we don’t know but it’s great that he’s thriving and doing well in Milan and hopes he keeps up his form.
despite showing that his form is good again a lot of haters still try to say that he's a crap player that's only performing well because he's no longer playing in the best league in the world (the Prem) and went to a league that's not as good but imo they're just hating
Haters you say… see how Lukaku also performed well in Serie A but failed at different clubs in the Premier League? See how Tammy Abraham scores well in Serie A but was toothless at Chelsea? It’s the same for Pulisic. Serie A is just old men’s league nowadays for washed up players and average players who want to feel better about themselves
Morale of the story, if youre a highly touted young prospect, dont ever sign for a EPL club, especially Chelsea, theyll just destroy your career projection.
@@Nabhuto I mean ratings are based on last season so it does make sense. He was terrible at chelsea and his prime there was maybe at most an 81-82, while at dortmund he was more like a decent 79 type player
@@kaan4040I get Pulisic wasn't very good last season but Chelsea in general was awful as well. They downgraded Pulisic by 3, I expected an 80 overall. This season he has been amazing so far. I believe it's only fair he gets an upgrade by about 2.
the man who can't score standing up lol. But i get it though, it wasnt him. it was us. tbf tuchel was the beginning of the end for him at chelsea because based on his previous dortmund experience, tuchel never saw him as anything more than a super sub. Imagine leaving dortmund for more first team minutes, then the guy who never rated you as a started now becomes your new manager at your new club. doomed to fail.
