But Steffy on the other hand goes through a troubling period of her life while dealing with feelings of resentment towards the woman who broke up her family and everyone keeps demonizing her. I've been watching these old episodes, and Steffy's character has really developed. She's no longer evil and devious and she's a lot more mature, and she's not as hostile towards Brooke as she is here. Steffy and Brooke still have issues with each other, but not as deep as Thomas does now, Steffy has actually admitted she has respect for Brooke.
Ridge was a FOOL then and he's a FOOL now. Still making excuses for Brooke and choosing her over his kids. Steffy has every right to be upset. Ridge gives Brooke a free pass constantly.
