@Jeff Baker How's that Mr. Enlightened one? My point is that I work with older Black folks ages 45-65, and they seem to know and listen to anything from soul to classical, to white soul artists to black country artists, whereas most younger don't care for much except hip hop and R&B. And please take your name-calling somewhere else...it makes you seem uneducated.
@Jeff Baker so if someone shares a personal view or experience and it doesn't align with your view of the world, they're an idiot? To use your one word response: "wow".
I MISS everything about this time! Everyone was happy and no bs going on while in these moments of AB! A lot of dark things going on in the world then but young people could live in the moment and share good energy! We are just lacking that today. Makes me sad but I’m glad I can go back to enjoy this here. Thank you! Makin me feel young inside
@@wxsuperman38 I do remember that one as well. It was on an episode from may 1979 that featured Maxine Nightingale, but I don't recall the other featured performer as VH1 did not air those segments in their condensed 30 minute formatted episodes.
OMG @ 0:55 (after the gay Bandstand shirt." HOW IN THE WORLD did they let that chick on with the table cloth dress she beat up the 90yr old woman on her street for that table cloth??? OMG....dude with the red jeans and sweater....with the same Back to the Future 1980's bass player dance move??? WOW..he looks like he was a kid who did not get role on 8 Is Enough....
I remember watching tis when it aired.
I miss the 70s.
The 1975-76 Season,The Mini,Midi,Maxi Dresses & Skirts were in Fashion at the time.
Dick Clark presented Kiss live on TV and now these young people are dancing to the classic Kiss song from Destroyer.
This is so cool and how refreshing to see both blacks and whites dancing to rock and roll together...seriously.
I was just thinking that before I scrolled down to comments...Sadly this doesn't happen much anymore. Blacks were more versatile to music back then...
PJ Angels That song is awful to dance to whether you’re black or white.
@@a.b.sproductionsllc Jus saw this. you're right, but they pulled it off!
