Aloha from Hawaii , It's time Taylor , you need your own channel !!! You & Luke are such a pleasure to watch & listen to that you are both wasted as bit players , you are far better than that . Taylor Made Cars , The You Tube Channel is a must !
The GTO was the best Car In the first Gran Turismo game and as a child this was my dream car too. It's nice to know I'm not the only 1 who remembers that part of the game so fondly
No BMW's!!! Thank God!!! Japanese cars are very reliable & Mitsubishi is a good brand. Luke, I hope at some stage before they salt the roads for winter that you get the underbody sealed as it'll rust if you wont. Also, upgrade the exhaust for a cooler sound. Great video guys.
I had a GTO twin turbo years ago which I modded the hell out of. Over 400bhp, Lenso Muse alloys, HKS downpipe, SAFC Fuel controller, bigger injectors, Eibach suspension, you name it. It’s the only car I ever regret getting rid of.
Midnight purple one of these always pulls into the petrol station I work at, also has a straight pipe so it sounds insane. Maybe a cheeky trip to the fabricators is in order??
Love this car and episode. More like this please! Take note Mr. Brewer, this is a part of your legacy. A mechanic and a enthusiast who are both very good at their jobs. Also a big thank you to Alex (Autoalex) for producing great entertainment!
The gto is hands down my favourite car since the first time I gave it the turbo upgrade in gran turismo. So happy for Luke and want to see a lot more of this project on the channel
I wouldn't mind videos like this in a longer form. I like watching people working on engines, I'd have no problem watching you change that belt and the plugs(If you did them) rather than cutting it out.
I've got a 2004 Mitsubishi Shogun LWB 3.2 turbo diesel. It's rock solid and totally reliable. Nice to see this MITZY getting back on the road. Next video wicked paint job maybe...
Mitsi V6's are very underrated with the 6G74 being the most Popular here in Aus and the 6G72 a close second in NA form, The Mitsi Magna here was Iconic as a Family vehicle for years with both 3.0 and the 6G74 3.5 and they fair flog along when nudged lol
I remember my friend bought one of these in 1993. He was astounded that my little Nissan Sunny could keep up with it on the Derbyshire roads. He had no idea what a GTiR was.
I took mine on a trip from London to Ireland and back after spending 2 years fixing it with my dad and it didnt miss a beat , these things absolutely eat miles when cruising.
The 6g72 always tends to go slack on the front bank once it's stood, the auto tensioner goes tight when running,, but it's worth re tensioning the pulley as they're known to rattle the securing bolt loose, a Nordlock washer is a great way to prevent it happening again
This car is such a boss 90's JDM car and legend that it was once a heavily modified GTO/3000GT in the Knight rider 2000 tv movie. Great story luke of the car and Taylor being a G as always. 😎👍💨🤟🖤
Best video your channel has put out in ages! Taylor, you and Luke doing this kind of stuff is a channel I would never get tired of! Cars tell so many stories and you guys really help uncork some fine whines that make these tales go down a treat!
That’s awesome. I loved my 97 Colt. Finding Mitsubishi from 90s that is not totally rusted thru is a really rare event. Well done on the car. Tavarish would approve.
Few things, 1st having a v2 video dropping straight after a TDC video is bittersweet, amazing because it makes Monday nights content mega but sad because it means I may have a night without either 😂. 2nd love seeing Luke in front of camera and 3rd I feel oddly obliged to watch through the adverts just in case skipping harms the teams income for any reason 😅
Great video, both - absolute naturals. The car looks insane. I had a tutor who had one of these and I used to find myself staring out the window at his car, rather than listening to what he had to say!
When I was about 10 in 1999-2000 my best mates dad had a bright red GTO, I remember him phoning me to say his dad had got a new car and do I want to go over and have a look...my ten year old brain nearly exploded with how beautiful it was!! My friend sadly died when we were twenty, so these cars really hold a special place in my heart.
Even though I'm a Nissan fanboy, this car with all the bells are so nice. I do remember in the early YT days I saw a clip of a red one in the US (can remember if it's was an import or their "own" Dodge type of thing though) that (if I remember correctly) just pushed the original boost up on the two turbo (still original) a wee bit... and with the AWD he took everything at the lights...
