Good video and thank you for explaining myopia in so much details with current update. In your experience, when a child is wearing the Misight soft contact lenses for their myopia treatment, when they are not wearing their contact lenses in the evening, what kinds of glasses should they use - the Miyo smart glasses or regular single vision glasses? Does it make a difference? Thanks.

MiSight soft contact lenses should be worn for at least 10 hours per day, and for at least six days of the week. If cost is not an issue, I would say definitely fill the MiYOSMART glasses for the child to use during the remaining waking hours while he/she is not wearing the contacts. This is because it is the myopia control design within these lenses that allow the slowing of myopia progression. Regular single vision glasses have been shown to attribute to myopia progression in children.

I'm nearsighted When I look at the screen on my phone, the writing is a bit slanted, I don't know why. When I ask others, they tell me that they are perfectly straight, I don't know why. I am myopic -4;50 -3;75 but with or without glasses it's the same but I never used to wear them. Thanks for your reply.

Since you see the slanted writing with or without glasses, the symptom is likely caused by something else other than your prescription. Best to consult your local optometrist!

Hi, interesting video. Can you address how (if at all) US citizens can get a prescription for and glasses for their child? Glasses are not yet available in the US so if there is a process to get them from another country (Like Canada) that would be very helpful.

Hi Jerry, have you tried the Ortho K hard and soft lenses? If so, what was your child’s experience. My daughter experienced dry eye from both.
We are seeking to perhaps start a group so that all can share experiences and perhaps lend some resolutions. We would love for our child return to the hard lenses as they are more effective.
I have been reaching out to ophthalmologist in Canada regarding the eyeglass options. If I learn of any new developments, or the item Prayfully coming to the USA I will share … please, if you learn of any new developments please share.
I’m thinking our next step is to travel to Canada

May I ask if those things/methods you mentioned only slow down myopia in children or also in adults over the age of 40 that also need progressive lenses now. Thank you very much in advance

MiSight is also very expensive, thousands per year.
