"It's a split second decision" when broadside to torpedoes. One that my brain manages to get wrong pretty much every time.
Yep. I too always make the wrong first decision, then dither, then take the torp(s). 😂
I get it right most of the time with DDs and BBs, but with any (hydro) cruiser I eat all the torps

Flambass the interrupter. I love him to death, but I think if it weren't for the other guy commentating... Flambass might still be talking about that Gearing taking a torp at the beginning of the match. He talks in loops.
There's some poignant history in Flambass' seeing a Gearing in smoke taking a torp :)
Flambass is getting old, he is starting to become Jingles 2.0

OM got SHAFTed :D many people will probably find close matches far more exciting, but this demonstration of how one team can dismantle the other with surgical precision - and not simply as a result of a critical mistake or RNG - was very impressive.

The Gearing "NobodyIsPerfect" used the wrong strat here, he mostly did long range torp spam and stuck to Des Moines to give them smoke. When he saw the situation play out he should've risked it and played closer to the front line to use his torps to break up their advance rather than his long range torp spam which was too inaccurate due to gaps. He should've also used smoke extremely close as bait to try and panic the Kremlin and Moskava's. By sticking to his Des Moines he let them advance without worrying too much beyond return fire. He could've contributed more to the team by breaking up the enemy's advance and forcing them to turn to avoid torps or zig zag in fear of torps by sailing up to spotting range and using smoke as bait. Doing so would have given his team a chance of getting citadels and maybe negating their advantage. He should have adapted to the situation and he didn't and didn't contribute much at all to the team by being inflexible.
You are talking about sailing into a triple 12km radar. What panic? They had the cap and safe positions, these guys are not randoms. I think you overestimate the distance.
Not smoking up that Des Moines would have meant a useless DM, since she was stuck in a crossfire of a Stalingrad, Kremlin and Moskva. Going into the cap was no real option since radar cover + a lurking Daring and B was contained by a DM the whole game.
Were there other ways? Probably, but Gearing plays with the team.
And he didn't let advance them for free. The Kremlin almost paid with his life for this.
iceyjones didnt play, so that was the reason OM lost :)

The inability of your comoderator to properaly pronounce the player names is very annoying. After this match I watched your replay on your Twitch and he is driving me mad with his made up names!
Your inability to type is very annoying. It's properly, not properaly.
Focus on the games, not the caster's pronunciation of a name made from numerals and letters.
