I saw them live in Atlanta a month ago and they sang this; it was so wonderful, and unfortunately went by way too quickly! Have you reacted to their new song “Utopia”? Cho Mingyu's delivery of "Mama just killed a man", just feels like a little boy confessing to his mum. It is a complete masterpiece. Freddie would be delighted with this. You are right, the middle section is so hard that Queen never did it live. They used to play a video and leave the stage whilst it played, returning for Brian to lead the others back onstage by playing a guitar solo.
