This is why we don't have a good remedy for cancer after all these years, they put all these ignorant people in charge of our healthcare system.
What the first need to understand is cancer is your mind telling your body to cancel itself.
This is why people who process evil thoughts dies early.

The reason most do not talk about the way to eat that prevents disease - is because it’s not a shortcut to keep eating the addictive food. The SAD. The last thing I ever wanted to do was stop eating sugar, and giving up processed bread and excess carbs was awful - but it worked to get my health back . AND fast forward 8 months - I look great , I have my body back from my 20s and I feel great. And I can’t imagine going back to fast food and junk food. Even over 50- I did it.

By adding trivial comments and facial gestures he is breaking the line of thought of the guest speakers who the audience actually wants to listen to. Take this feedback constructively and improve. thanks for your feedback. please understand I have read all of his books and listened to his lecture and podcast with peter attia etc etc. I have one hour with a man I have no business sharing air with. one opportunity to get something that's not already public. if you listen to his podcast with peter attia, or read emperor of maladies, you can get the full hour and two additional he woukd have needed if uninterrupted. what you would not have gotten, is the castle and moat analogy, and shockingly accepted by him--the hot dog analogy. I have had previous guests explain what chemo and immune therapy are several times. consider being a *podcast* host similar to as if you were to get a lunch hour with someone of your dreams. or in your home. someone absolutely brilliant. do you let 45-60 minutes of it go explaining a google able concept? the challenge for a host is to get something NEW, or different, from that mind. and in this case, it took interjection. but it introduced new analogies he's since apparently since used.

I didn't get much from this.
What do you do to starve cancer? I didn't get the answer here.
Dr Thomas Seyfried has an elegant, simple explanation:
cancer cells are addicted to glucose and glutamine. That's the key. Cancer cells have defective mitochondria which are devoid of cristae: they can't perform ox-phos. They rely on fermentation to produce energy and use glucose and glutamine exclusively.

Thank you for putting this so succinctly. I've been wondering if cancer is unable to grow in a person who is on hard-core keto, and, if so, would that diet bullet-proof the person from cancer? What do you think about that?

Then he went on a red meat only diet w limited eating window, weekend fasting etc, and three months later his colon tumor was gone. For colon cancer at least, which is more often found in the large intestine, meat is the way as it is processed mostly in the small intestine and liquid by the time it reaches the large intestine. Much easier than veggies to process.

For these types, fasting may not be useful as a singular strategy. Unfortunately the science is still in its infancy and we don’t necessarily know which types respond well and which don’t.

I think the mitochondria transfer experiments that are referred to in Dr. Seyfried's book indicate that dysfunctional mitochondria play a role in the development and growth of cancer. This is probably why people are having success with Cannabis as it's causing the mitochondria in cancer cells to become dysfunctional resulting in apoptosis.

Targeting cancer, to be disintegrated in normal body processes; this is so close to understanding chemical reactions, as are taught in a chemistry class. Chemistry happens at the molecular or atom level. And the human body is nearly at such a basic level in how it functions. So the cure for cancers must occur in processes that are too small to see, or even too subtle to be perceived by the human senses.

Step 1: Why do cancerous cells use inefficient glycolysis to produce energy, ignoring the TCA cycle?
Step 2: Why under pressure same cells do switch to the TCA cycle and catabolism of alternate more complex fuels (anaplerosis)?
So the regular pathways are the normal ones or they also were modified and to what extent?
Intensive use of energy requires oxygen because of the yield of ATP?
Why go back to the high volume of oxygen?
It seems like a more detailed withe board lecture is required to understand in deep all these mechanisms.
    Are you both producing one?
    Fascinating.

Mukherjee proposes the old SMT, somatic mutation theory, of cancer. Seyfried and Fung have well explained how this model is old, doesn't explain many things, and doesn't lead to any meaningful victory toward cancer. There is a lot of "anedoctal evidence" that Seyfried and Fung are right. I would like to listen, from Mukherjee, about how many cases of Type IV cancers with metastasis he cured up to remission, how many "walking dead" patients he has, that were given a life expectancy of a few months and are alive 5 o 10 years later. The proof is in the pudding.

I'm a bit confused now. One expert says that "at the end of the day, cancer is a genetic disrase" while another expert, Dr. Seyfreid said on this channel that cancer is a metabolic disease. Other authorities like Dr. Lustig strongly emphasize that cancer is Epigenetic disease.
I guess we are all speculating with very little certainty what cancer actually is, but, Dr. Seyfreid's point of view is more logical and makes a lot of sense among others.
The key to treating cancers lies in the knowledge about them. Unfortunately, we seem to be far from it.

    1) Cancer is not a genetic disease.
    2) The mitochondria mutates to provide energy to the cell abnormally.
    3) Abnormal mitochondria function the root problem.
Ok so there are 2 main issues.
    1) How to prevent mitochondria from using alternate methods of producing energy.
    2) How to get mitochondria back to normal or destroy mutated mitochondria.

Toxic therapy promotes secondary cancers of the daughter cells to come out later in the life of the patient which the Cancer Industry is never talking about. Also, the cure rate in a 5-year window of time is a miserable 2.5 success rate that the patient is living so really using the big 3 of slash burn and poison is in fact a 98 percent death sentence to the newly diagnosed patients big money for the industry really. This fact is never acknowledged to the cancer patient by their oncologist that really knows what is going on but is gagged by their big boss called the CDC the FDA the Government and the AMA to shut up and stay quiet and to deliver the cancer-causing agents anyway including the dangerous biopsies as well. They still do biopsys here in England no one said it s not a good idea to do a biopsy to me and gave me the impression, that was the only way they could tell if it was cancer,,it's not, and it the be explained befor,, well a person with cancer is in shock,,how are they helped when a biopsy is not needed ,,when it is obvious its cancer iwas told that is the last thing to do to help you as its a bad practise ,,,,so why is it still done ,,and not explained properly ,,🎉

I'm a little confused about the conclusion by Dr.Mukherjee. I'd really like to read his clinical studies he's done, and that would probably clarify the issue for me. Apparently, he is no fan of Dr. Seyfried's investigations (and clinical successes) in the metabolic origins of cancer. Dr. Seyfried thinks one SHOULD quit ingesting sugar, and carbs, so I was surprised that Dr. Mukherjee doesn't think much of that approach (or at least how I understood it from what he said). Anyway, the video was fascinating despite Dr. Juneja's overtalking Dr Mukherjee so that those parts of the conversation were unintelligible.
