This is why we don't have a good remedy for cancer after all these years, they put all these ignorant people in charge of our healthcare system. What the first need to understand is cancer is your mind telling your body to cancel itself. This is why people who process evil thoughts dies early.
The reason most do not talk about the way to eat that prevents disease - is because it’s not a shortcut to keep eating the addictive food. The SAD. The last thing I ever wanted to do was stop eating sugar, and giving up processed bread and excess carbs was awful - but it worked to get my health back . AND fast forward 8 months - I look great , I have my body back from my 20s and I feel great. And I can’t imagine going back to fast food and junk food. Even over 50- I did it.
You realize that those two absolutely do not agree right? Dr. Seyfried is a quack. The theory he defends is wrong (that cancer is caused by a mitochondrial dammage causing cells to go into glycolysis).
Dr Sanjay. Please stop being so voluble 🙏🙏🙏 Let me listen to Dr Mukkherjee. My finger got hurt by the fastforwarding. As a host you don’t explain what the guest does. Please don’t interrupt, don’t add, don’t comment. Dr Mukkherjee must be a very, very patient man.
The host needs to take a back seat and not disturb the thought process of the guests. By adding trivial comments and facial gestures he is breaking the line of thought of the guest speakers who the audience actually wants to listen to. Take this feedback constructively and improve. Also see how Dr. Mukherjee explained everything without using any fancy terms .. thats the hallmark of a good teacher!

I have had previous guests explain what chemo and immune therapy are several times. consider being a *podcast* host similar to as if you were to get a lunch hour with someone of your dreams. or in your home. someone absolutely brilliant. do you let 45-60 minutes of it go explaining a google able concept? the challenge for a host is to get something NEW, or different, from that mind. and in this case, it took interjection. but it introduced new analogies he's since apparently since used.
i know this is not a live interview, but please stop interrupting Dr Siddhartha Mukherjee over and over and over again while he's patiently trying to finish telling us the story he has started and wants us to hear. when your guest says "to finish the story i've started" you should hear that loud and clear and stop interrupting...
I totally agree that the interviewer should stop talking and let the guest talk. It's like the interviewer wants to impress everyone with what he knows.
I remember an interview with Dr Mukherjee where he didn’t believe we will find a true cancer cure in our lifetimes because we’ve only identified perhaps 3% of the pathways and therefore we hardly know the body. That was so astounding and honest that I had to take off my rose colored glasses and realize how little we do actually know.
Your guest speaks clearly and the subject is very interesting. You however, well meaning, confuse the subject with unnecessary and complicating analogies, instead og letting us digest what he is saying. Also if you do speak you must slow down so we can follow - learn from your guest!
I didn't get much from this. What do you do to starve cancer? I didn't get the answer here. Dr Thomas Seyfried has an elegant, simple explanation: cancer cells are addicted to glucose and glutamine. That's the key. Cancer cells have defective mitochondria which are devoid of cristae: they can't perform ox-phos. They rely on fermentation to produce energy and use glucose and glutamine exclusively.
Thank you for putting this so succinctly. I've been wondering if cancer is unable to grow in a person who is on hard-core keto, and, if so, would that diet bullet-proof the person from cancer? What do you think about that?
@@tomdehenLook up Fred Evrard’s book, How my immune system beat cancer (or something like that). He did a water fast for 21 days and reduced his tumor by half. Then he went on a red meat only diet w limited eating window, weekend fasting etc, and three months later his colon tumor was gone. For colon cancer at least, which is more often found in the large intestine, meat is the way as it is processed mostly in the small intestine and liquid by the time it reaches the large intestine. Much easier than veggies to process.

Unfortunately, different cancers feed in different ways, so Dr. Seyfried is just partially/ mostly accurate with this pursuit. I wish this push was explained better in this video, but that would be impossible. There won't be just one solution to all problems.
Yes, Dr Seyfried is a meticulous researcher for many years. He believes cancers are a metabolic disorder and not genetic. If you change your sugar full diet to a non carb diet you can often heal your cancer but if not completely at least halt the progress.

Mukherjee proposes the old SMT, somatic mutation theory, of cancer. Seyfried and Fung have well explained how this model is old, doesn't explain many things, and doesn't lead to any meaningful victory toward cancer. There is a lot of "anedoctal evidence" that Seyfried and Fung are right. I would like to listen, from Mukherjee, about how many cases of Type IV cancers with metastasis he cured up to remission, how many "walking dead" patients he has, that were given a life expectancy of a few months and are alive 5 o 10 years later. I'm a bit confused now. One expert says that "at the end of the day, cancer is a genetic disrase" while another expert, Dr. Seyfreid said on this channel that cancer is a metabolic disease. Other authorities like Dr. Lustig strongly emphasize that cancer is Epigenetic disease. I guess we are all speculating with very little certainty what cancer actually is, but, Dr. Seyfreid's point of view is more logical and makes a lot of sense among others. The key to treating cancers lies in the knowledge about them. Unfortunately, we seem to be far from it.
“So your saying” Dr. Siddhartha Mukherjee is 1) Cancer is not a genetic disease. 2) The mitochondria mutates to provide energy to the cell abnormally. 3) Abnormal mitochondria function the root problem. Ok so there are 2 main issues. 1) How to prevent mitochondria from using alternate methods of producing energy. 2) How to get mitochondria back to normal or destroy mutated mitochondria.
The one doing the interview is truly annoying .... He talks so much that it seems to be the one interviewed. He did most of the talking🙄 and then he also speaks sooo fast that it is very confusing😒 and i could hardly understand the questions.

Toxic therapy promotes secondary cancers of the daughter cells to come out later in the life of the patient which the Cancer Industry is never talking about. Also, the cure rate in a 5-year window of time is a miserable 2.5 success rate that the patient is living so really using the big 3 of slash burn and poison is in fact a 98 percent death sentence to the newly diagnosed patients big money for the industry really. This fact is never acknowledged to the cancer patient by their oncologist that really knows what is going on but is gagged by their big boss called the CDC the FDA the Government and the AMA to shut up and stay quiet and to deliver the cancer-causing agents anyway including the dangerous biopsies as well. I am the messenger of years of independent research on the subject only. Holistic Chef Barry Anderson is just saying thank you. BEE WELL and STAY WELL.
This is really good information and insights that are being shared. But in saying, how does he explain all of the people who are doing things like putting their bodies into ketosis and overcoming cancer that way? Surely it's not a coincidence....?

If there is a change in the strategy and more than one gene is involved, may be logical to think of a master switch? If so, is there a pre-established protocol to activate this or the other way or is it a completely new pathway to solve a particular stressful situation? If so, is it possible to think of an intelligent cancerous innovative cell with unlimited ways to go around when attacked?

What is you opionion about the Ketogenic diet for MPN's? I have been keto on and off for the past 3 years.
I'm a little confused about the conclusion by Dr.Mukherjee. I'd really like to read his clinical studies he's done, and that would probably clarify the issue for me. Apparently, he is no fan of Dr. Seyfried's investigations (and clinical successes) in the metabolic origins of cancer. Dr. Seyfried thinks one SHOULD quit ingesting sugar, and carbs, so I was surprised that Dr. Mukherjee doesn't think much of that approach (or at least how I understood it from what he said). Anyway, the video was fascinating despite Dr. Juneja's overtalking Dr Mukherjee so that those parts of the conversation were unintelligible.
This guy is an actual scientist and follows the facts and believes in the results of controlled scientific studies, unlike Seyfried, who is more concerned with developing his 'brand' and who relies on anecdotal 'evidence'.

I listened to that whole thing and did not learn a thing? What did he just say? How do you starve cancer?
Siddhartha Mukherjee is
1) Cancer is not a genetic disease.
Thank you very much!
The one doing the interview is truly annoying .... He talks so much that it seems to be the one interviewed. He did most of the talking🙄 and then he also speaks sooo fast that it is very confusing😒 and i could hardly understand the questions.
Thank you very much.
Outsmarting the cancer cells is extremely difficult, this is what I have learned from this podcast.
Thank you for these awesome explanations, I'm NOW understanding why the docs want to follow these protocols but could not explain to me without me feeling like they're saying "Because I said!"
I am full of hope and strength to go forward with chemo treatment with a metabolic approach - fasting and very low carb. What do you think about hyperbaric oxygen and float tanks? Thanks again. Ü
Hyperbaric 02 is excellent.
Right here with you ❤❤❤
They should be monitoring you anyway,,,, so if you can get to one its been given good reviews,,,,what have you to loose,
But how are we gonna find if we are just commoners and not scientist..
I know how to avoid and how to stop cancer. It’s the same thing: fast.
Wish I knew what to do.
No one can fast all the time. They will die from other health issues.
What you guys think about dendriatic cell based immunotherapy
This is really good information and insights that are being shared. But in saying, how does he explain all of the people who are doing things like putting their bodies into ketosis and overcoming cancer that way? Surely it's not a coincidence....?
Dr. Sanjay Juneja, please stop interrupting your guest. It’s so annoying to watch and it’s losing track and hard to keep up with the flow. If you want to talk make your own videos without inviting guest.
Great interview👍
Would like to see a debate between this guy and Dr Fung.
Great idea!
I don’t know if it’s just me but I understood DrMukherjee much clearer than the explanation, given by Dr. Juneja. Then I became really confused.
Nothing helped my wife, who expired with gall bladder cancer metastasized to liver within 15 days. Funny practice in India to compulsorily do biopsy, before starting immunotherapy, inspite of clear indications in Ultrasound and PET scan.
Money making bullshit
I am very sorry to hear of your wife.
Mine is in level 4 melanoma
This is not fun
How old was she? how long did she have the cancer? Was there a surgery? Please accept our condolences
They still do biopsys here in England no one said it s not a good idea to do a biopsy to me and gave me the impression, that was the only way they could tell if it was cancer,,it's not, and it the be explained befor,, well a person with cancer is in shock,,how are they helped when a biopsy is not needed ,,when it is obvious its cancer iwas told that is the last thing to do to help you as its a bad practise ,,,,so why is it still done ,,and not explained properly ,,🎉
That a biopsy then let's cancer cells unto the blood stream is what I was told this then let's it spread through the body ,,, is that true or was it just another speculation ,,of unknown fact ,s
What are the exact amino acids he is referring to????
Excellent conversations! What are your views on the following:
- Proton therapy that Singapore is currently a leader on?
Dr. Levin mentions proton in his interview. You can check the episode: ua-cam.com/video/sViUqqkuTkA/v-deo.html
Host seems to b overexcited to show his speaking skills rather than what doctor want to say
Dr. Sanjay was excited to bring Dr. Mukherjee to our audience. We are grateful to Dr. Sanjay for sharing all his knowledge and his guests.
So what is the Nutr ition Therapy??? Great theory, but no practical applicaiton that a sufferer can do for themselves. Again going back to Nutrition Therapy.
FANTASTIC AND SUPER INTERESTING AND AT THE SAME TIME IT STRIKES & REMINDS ME VERY MUCH OF THE STRATEGY OF THE PLAN OF THE GRE+T RESET.
Glad you liked it!
Still no advice on how to kill the cancer cell
I am , also , still waiting .
Couldnt hear him finish his train of thoughts due to constant interupptions
The host has to just remain more silent and give more time and should not talk in between while the other person is talking.
Thank you for your feedback!
How about HBOT and/or colorectal ozone therapy? In regards to oxidative stress on the cancer and elimination of ROS species.
Works very welll. Get into ketosis first!!!
What is HBOT?
Ozone therapy?
@@Salamander-us3ys Ozone therapy is different. Thats o3. A different molecule all together. HBOT is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. Loads of recent studies showing benefit of HBOT along side Ketosis.
Thanks,,sounds that we almost need a strategy board to see what therapies for what cancer type ,to save time and then look for its so difficult as what to try and find the results of what treatment ,,so you can help youreself it's difficult like a minefield ,,of old info and not much about newer treatments on an unbiased leaflet to see side by side results,,,,without money being involved and pharma selling product,,,so it's just a base to work from
Sanjay please allow the experts to finish their thoughts really getting tedious you interrupting
Yeh very difficult to follow. Host, why the frequent distraction and interruption though?
That being said I am very curious what Dr. Mukherjee thinks in regards to Ai developments (specifically towards discovering those other 97% pathways)
HI Dr. Juneja, I have Essential Thrombocythemia, JAK 2 +. I am consulting an MPN specialist, but when I try to talk to her about nutrition, she just says to eat healthy, follow the food guide... What is you opionion about the Ketogenic diet for MPN's? I have been keto on and off for the past 3 years.
CLICKBAIT! There are NO specific actions offered, just general theory exchange. This is how to rob time from solution seekers.
Yes, please stop talking over your guests, it’s very disrespectful.
Thank you for your feedback. We really appreciate it.
I think he's just excited but fair point.
Dr. Thomas Seyfried says cancer is NOT genetic, which is it ? Or is it both.
I’m not a medical person.
🇦🇺
are you available in delhi ??
39:26 most were FIRED, or they were forced OUT, they didn’t leave by choice.
I read that some types of cancer can use fats and proteins. How to treat these types?
Oh please
Host has to keep quiet and let guest speak his knowledge. So much distraction by the host.
All my comment is wiped off.!
Don't know how it happened.
Your voice is rather difficult to. listen due to high pitch n accent to capture . Your discussion is interesting.
Cancer is worrying us as friends n relatives vanished in life so quickly.
Awfully sad that modern day medicine still haven't conquered to overcome altogether. this vicious cells. May your work be successful sooner than later.
26:50 I don’t get the distinction between not eating sugar, and blocking the cancer cell from digesting nutrients. Are you suggesting use of drugs instead of diet? Why not stop eating glucose also?
It’s metabolic these guys need to listen to Thomas Seyfried as soon as the guy above said cancer is genetic I turned off.
So Dr. Thomas Seyfreid said in another video that cancer isn’t necessarily a genetic disease. 🤦🏽♀️
Please , less interference and let Dr. Mukherjee talk.
Ketogenic diet or carnivore. No sugar.
Exactly. I'm 16 years post diagnosis on cancer. I went keto for 5 years and the last 11 have been carnivore. I'm still kicking.
The problem with this host is he is trying to create a name for himself by saying yes to all interviewees . So sad at the cost of such a serious issue .
Our 18 years autistic son is diagnosed with Classical Hodgkin Lymphoma stage 3. Wts the best sequence of treatment for him?
If you live in the US and need help finding and navigating treatment options, feel free to check out Cancer Commons: cancercommons.org/. They provide a free service to help patients.
WOULD BE FAB DISCUSSION IF THERE WAS NO HOST. LET'S JUST HEAR FROM THE EXPERT, NOT HOST STARVED FOR ATTENTION. EXPERT SAYS LET ME SAY SOMETHING SAYS IT ALL.
Agree, let the other talk!
Love it🔥👏
So in a nutshell.. is it go low carb, no processed oil?
Could low dose chemo and using the immune system to outsmart the mutations work ?
Just let the man talk.
Can this technique is used for liver cirocious with HCC. If do what food to be taken
The host is marketing himself. He talks too much and nonsense and please do something about your too annoying facial expressions
Thank you for your feedback. We have to be thankful for Dr. Juneja and his immense passion for medicine and for bringing close to us all these incredible minds that are tackling the problem of cancer. Thanks to his altruistic approach to life, we can learn much from all his guests.
@@TargetCancer But what s the point of inviting guests if what u want to do is listening to yourself. ( I think everyone here is super grateful for Dr. J's talents, efforts n sharing but there s a time for everything n we are talking bout gaining important inputs here, u can invite all the important people in the world but if the audience gain nothing then what s the point)Just my 2cents.
Hose hands too
Those
Stop cutting the expert off with your analogies. What are the amino acids and what should we do about it? How do we prevent cancer cells from metabolising foods into sugars? Stop the idiotic analogies. Stop interrupting the expert.
Horrible host
Could something like CRISPR Cas 9 be used to cut out the ability of cancer cells to use fuel to metabolize and mutate or correct cell and gene mutations?
Since certain cancers, like Pancreatic cancer, are almost a death sentence anyway, why would this not be researched further to battle such a dangerous cancer?
Are going to let the Dr talk
Please study -Bruce Lipton and Ken Honda thanks 🌎
Which one he called smartest cancer researcher? Can some one tell me his name plzz ! I can't understand what name ge said
I have independently researched the causes and efficacy therapies for Cancer diagnosis for more than 40 years and this video information on the Subject of Cancer is all so wrong.
My age is 70 this June 7th, 2024
Holistic Chef Barry Anderson of Phuket Thailand
If I get a cancer, I would still stay extremely low carbohydrate and water only long term fast 21 to 40 days minimum. Then return to OMAD zero carb cycling between OMAD and Alternate day fasting!
What is OMAD? I am trying to figure this out and take action as I await what I know will be a cancer diagnosis.
Never mind. Quick research gave me the answer.
One meal a day.
Not ideal for stage 4.
@@cheryle3117I have cancer and I did no sugars with carnivore diet and intermittent fasting...it did not help...3 spots grew by a few millimeters in 3 months. I found Chris Beat Cancer here on UA-cam and his cancer healing diet makes the most sense to me. He has a book by the same title...I would start with that before deciding on any therapies. He didn't want to do chemo and neither do I so I keep searching and know that is the diet I need to heal with. Good luck and I pray everything goes well for you.
Deuterium depleted water
Plenty talk but when are we going to find true help for cancer patients?
I lost my dad and relatives.
Now I'm going through the same. No help for my endometrial cancer stage 4.
I'm going to die wirhout any help not even surgery. 😩😓😫
Sad host is talking to much and doesn’t allow viewers to listen.
Cancer isn’t genetic but metabolic disease!!!
I love the anatomical animations...
Y'all getting stuck because first have to repair the DNA damage & detox every organ every cell & the skin and improve oxygen in the cells.
Very very nice
Is it regarding colon cancer?
Dr. Mukherjee and his team are focusing on pancreatic cancer.
