Hi friends!!! Someone mentioned that they wished I would have done this video earlier. I apologize for not doing so. I didn't intend to turn it into a video... it was just a craft I was doing with my daughter for teacher gifts. But when I shared them in my Instagram stories, folks asked for a video so I did it quickly. I do know Concord and 9th ships fast. Anyway... there is next year too! :) Hugs to all. (

I don't have a die cutting machine but now I really want one. these trees are FANTASTIC!! love it love it
Oh my gosh! These are adorable! Perhaps try the mini pearl strands as garland. Or the ribbon that came out a few years ago that looks like miniature garland. Larger beads with a couple gold sequins on top could look like ornaments. Would be darling to decorate child’s Barbie doll house! Thanks for sweet easy project!!! Oh those mini mini jingle bells would be adorable as well!

I decorated my crafted trees with pearls that I dyed using different color Tim Holtz alcohol inks. They turned out beautiful!

The trees are soo cute!!😍...you can put it in a large jar, decorate it and put some mini lights in it!!
Very cool. If you have a wood burning iron, you can use it to write the food and from namers along with the year. You can also use an alcohol marker like a Sharpie but I would t advise using your good markers, like Copics because unless the wood is very smooth, you could damage the tips.

My 9-1/2 year old granddaughter was with me today, and we watched your video. We both love your trees, and she wanted to make one, but we didn’t have the dies, so now I am going to have to order them. She is very creative - and made a tree of her own design with a paper cone she made and covered it with real cotton from a cotton stalk I had. She isn’t quite finished yet - she still needs the star, but she will make that when she is back on Thursday. She was so proud of her tree.

I ordered the dye set. Can’t wait to make these!!! I have tons of the little Christmas lights necklaces that are battery powered, so I’m going to try those on the little trees as well as the Pom poms and pearls. I can see a forest in my future lol. Thanks for inspiring us all!!!!

Thank you for this video! I bought these dies and started making one but was not very successful. I bought skewers from the dollar store and my pieces kept sliding down them as the skewer wasn’t thick enough. I’ll have to try the ones you linked. Your trees are gorgeous!!

I love the idea of adding felt. These trees have been so fun to make. I was lucky enough to take the online class Concord & 9th offered when this set came out. I made some cute fall colored trees and will be making spring trees as well.

Beautiful trees! I have made some from card stock but the felt you added really makes a big difference 🥰
I decorate small sisal trees for eggshell dioramas. For tree decorations, the small styrofoam balls used for “slime” are perfect. There are many sizes and colors available. If you want them glittered, put a small amount of glue in a jar, add balls, stir to coat. Lift the balls out of the glue & dump in a jar of glitter then shake well. Remove from glitter & roll on a paper plate just covered with some more glitter. Separate any clumped balls & allow to dry while shaking occasionally.
