Good question. It wouldn't have hurt but it was a little redundant with the type of window and the brick siding. The siding sits off the sheathing about 1" and the window flange wasn't in contact with the brick. The window is also recessed. I spray foamed and caulked everything in very well so there's no chance water makes it back there
It's an L shaped lintel. I basically just used adhesive to glue bricks to the lintel because it doesn't need to support any weight above it. Otherwise I would have used a better lintel or possibly a reinforced concrete lintel

How much would you charge for this. Just wondering. I’m in England and have a very dark room that would benefit an extra window
About $2500 usd. Would be more expensive if your brick is structural tho
