"There are NO HEROES in the Christian faith except for Jesus Christ... the rest of us are just being saved."🔥⚡ Paul Washer.
“I have contributed nothing to my salvation but my sin; I have contributed nothing to my ministry but my weaknesses. Christ has done it all” - Paul Washer
Great words for his future epitaph as he mentioned. Blessings
First part of this true and impactful statement was stated by many saints in the past, from Jonathan Edwards to Phillip Melanchton. If we are aware of our own weakness, as our brother puts it in this encouraging conversation, we will be drawing from a well that never runs dry. As apostle Paul discovered that Christ will be manifest in His weakness, so church must understand it's own lack and need of Christ in these last days, instead of screaming out with Laodicean church: "I am rich and have need of nothing". May God have mercy on us and raise up many men of God, stars that shine brightly in this utterly dark generation. Be one of the vessels that are broken, so Christ may be all in all. Love you all, brethren!
I've been reading Watchman Nee's book on the Christian life and it's making sense to me. Dependence on Christ. The chapter on Knowing is so deeply profound. When I read this quote from Pastor Washer, it made sense. The Christian walk is a slow process. From faith to faith...
That’s deep 🙏🏼✝️🤍
Proverbs 15:23 - To make an apt answer is a joy to a man, and a word in season, how good it is!
My soul was fed listening to these men. Practical Christianity on display.
I love the casual nature of this conversation and the ease in which it flows. More please, if you're able. Thank you gentlemen.
I agree

The word of God is sweeter than honey and more nourishing than bread. Peace and grace to the saints in Christ Jesus.
Wow, this discussion has blessed me. I am going to try to share this video with my grandson. Please pray for him, that God would guide and strengthen him. His name is Dominick. His grandpa is so slow of heart and weak of mind.
Thank you gentlemen.
P.S.
Brother Paul, years ago i heard your plea to throw myself into prayer, to throw mysrlf into the scriptures..... i did and Christ used that messsge to make me pliable, to form and reform my walk. I have come out if Roman Catholicism and become truly Christian.
I thank Him for you.
God bless you ! Praying for you and Dominick!
@moniesincere5083 thanƙ you
God is so good 🙌🏼 thanks for sharing and prayers to Dominick
Absolutely, when my life becomes dry and I have a hard time concentrating on chapters of the Bible I will go to the Psalms because nothing feeds my soul like like these beautiful decrees of praise.
I'm always challenged whenever I listen to Brother Paul.
Paul Washer! I hope i meet you in person one day and tha we could have og long talk or something. It is crazy how i am a 20year old boy who lives in Norway, you have never met me, talked to, you dont even now that i exsist. But the blessing your teachings have been to me walk wit christ is something else! I discovered you about 2,5years ago and the whole of 2024 i have been going thru your "Studies in proverbs" + your sermons on prayer/the Word of God and it has helped me and friends here i Norway a lot. I hope you would (the Lord willing) visit our church here in Oslo, Norway and have a conference for the youth or something! Our Pastor would love if you came and visited. Glory to God for what he has done in your life
I can totally relate. I’m older than you, but the first time I came across Paul Washer was when I was 18 or 19 and I heard his "shocking youth message". Shocking as it may seem to some, it blessed me enormously!
@@rickbiessman6084 Wow praise be to God. It is interesting to see what God can do with a surrendered heart.
DON & MACK with PAUL! Awesome love these Brothers! 🙏🏼🕊🙌🏼🔥
Please keep making these videos. This was very edifying. I crave more in-depth conversations like this with other brothers & sisters in Christ. Today, we are too rushed. I have been praying to meet mature believers who share their wisdom, who love of the Word & simply talk together like this about Jesus & being His disciple. Thank you!
Mack Tomlinson and Don Currin are the other brothers names. You can find a sermons of theirs online .
Thank you Paul for this wisdom. I’m putting my phone down to pray now. God bless you and all those who watch this
My walk with Christ is hard but to see His face is priceless ❤️🙏🏽
*Hit 200k today.* I'm really grateful for all the knowledge and nuggets you had thrown my way over the last months. Started with 14k in June 2024
Congratulations on hitting the 200k milestone! That's an incredible growth from 14k in just a few months - what strategies or investments did you implement to achieve this remarkable success?
I'm beyond thrilled to see your progress! From 14k to 200k in such a short time is amazing. Would love to hear about your journey and the key decisions that led to this success.
It's Ms. Evelyn Vera doing, she's changed my life.
She’s a licensed broker here in the states 🇺🇸
That's amazing! I'm excited to start my journey with her.
Do you have any advice for someone just starting out?
Thank you so much my beloved brother Paul for giving me and many more True sheep this precious chance to receive such rich and deep Christian wisdom from Lord’s faithful and bold and holy saints, so that we can imitate faithfulness after these faithful saints. Hallelujah. Amen.
Baaah
Hearing you men speak about your personal relationships with Christ is so beautiful. In times like these when the term "relationship with Christ" is thrown around so casually it’s almost become meaningless, the love for Christ that is evident in how you talk of Him just brings me joy.
Christ is found in simply seeking Him. He says the truth when He says that those who seek shall find Him. It doesn’t take a worship band, it doesn’t take a gifted speaker, it doesn’t take lights and a fog machine, it doesn’t take psychological tricks, it doesn’t take a church building. All it takes is taking time and talking to Him. How incredible He is, that He paid the price to give us access to the Father.
Seriously I wish this was longer! I want to hear more wisdom from these humble men! 🙏
One of the most edifying conversations I’ve seen in a very long time. I truly don’t know where I’d be now if it wasn’t for Paul Washer.
This was great, instructive and encouraging. Very edifying, thank you. More of this please
Iron Sharpens Iron, keep showing these!!
One of the most encouraging and helpful Christian conversations ever!! Thank you brothers 🙌🙌🙌🙌
My name is Charles from Ghana and am 20 years. Am so thankful to God for this video but on the other hands am also hurt in my heart seeing all the difference in our local churches they are creating alot of problems
Difference is good because it demonstrates discernment and strong convictions on God's truth. Truth always has the backdrop of soft, wishy washy "opinions". Without difference the verse speaking about 'coming out from among them' would be irrelevant.
@user-or9cj3vk6t but what then, if there contradiction in their differences
God Bless this ministry and these elders ⚔️📖✝️
Recognize the weak areas and become strong through the Word and Prayer!
I wanted to thank the 3 for giving advice, sharing their journeys and also being vulnerable and relatable. I in the beginning stage of my life with Christ. It's been 1 year that Christ has found d me. All I want to do is please him although it will never be enough. It's all him not me. I have no mentor. One of your friends said something that so much like me. He said something that cause a light bulb in my head. He said read the Bible to feed you even if you don't remember what u read later on. Also I loved when he said ask God to give you enjoyment when reading the Word. Ty so much to the 3 & God bless.
I'm learning this right now! I'm learning that I'm weak and that I cannot get through the day without the word of God. I have been so blind and arrogant to think I don't need to read daily. I'm so sorrowful about it.
Love you dear brothers very much! Thank you for being a beautiful example of what true believers/leaders in the ministry look like. No haughty intellectualism, but integrity, transparency and wisdom. Just like our Savior! 😊
I don't know if y'all will see this but I wanted to thank you for sharing the wisdom that you have gained over the years. I will ask for more discussions with the elders from heart cry. May God bless all of you and your ministry.
Thank you lord for this conversation this is so powerful I wish I could have listened to this on day 1 of the Christian life I really needed this ❤️ praise the lord
We want the Kingdom of God to grow 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you dear brothers for this encouragement. When we struggle in prayer, reading our Bibles (and remembering), when we choose not to even try, rather than offend God by weak, wandering, miserable prayers....this helps me so much. God bless you - we'll press on til He returns or calls us home!!!
I loved this conversation. God bless you
I’m 4 mins in and I’m already encouraged and challenged. Hallelujah! May God continue to bless this ministry in Jesus Name! Amen
Praise God always! I thank God that he placed me underneath the sound teachings of heart cry. It will be 4 years in May that Christ pulled me from a true bed of suffering. I've been unable to enjoy fellowship with my brothers and sisters. The Lord in his mercies has given me my very own ministry, my ministry taken care of my autistic daughter. Encouragement the Lord led me to keep a journal not with my own words but with scripture let scripture interpret scripture let scripture interpret my life. In times of difficulty I can look back see when God delivered me times he made me wait I can see the refinement that he is done and the growth and maturity the Lord has given me. By his mercy and love my daughter is 5 the Lord is opening her mouth to speak. It is good in fitting to praise him. Peace to all my brothers and sisters hidden in Christ Jesus.
Thank you gentlemen for making the time to sit and talk. GodBless
Praise God ! Thank you lord for your son.
Thank you brethren! Thank you God. Thank you so much!
Soli deo Gloria. God bless you brothers in Christ ❤
I am blessed brothers. Thanks for sharing this wisdom.

This is such a blessing. In a land filled with churches and every kind of denomination, the sheep has to go to the internet to hear the truth of God. Please help. There is no bible preaching here. Just traditions passed down decades ago. 😢
Many thanks for sharing. Very helpful and wise reminder! God bless these faithful soilders of HIS Kingdom. --- George Hou from Shenzhen, China.
This really reinvigorates me and fueled the flame of the Holy Spirit within me. Thank you so much for this video!
It is a unique treasure to hear older saints share their insights and struggles of walking daily with Christ. It is a comfort to not feel alone in it all. Thank you brothers.
Thank you for this window into what it's honestly like to walk with God and tips on how to do so as well! It is such a blessing of encouragement and instruction. THANK YOU!

This conversation is such a blessing. Thank you, brothers!
This is incredibly helpful. I'm struggling with my devotional life, appreciate everyones prayers
I am as well and this really encouraged me!!! God bless you, we'll "struggle on" together!!!
AMEN! It is learning to eat & drink of Christ (John 6:27-66) It's denying our thoughts in every negative emotion & trial and look to the life of Christ and accept the trials (cross) as another opportunity to receive another revelation of Christ in us and follow HIM. (Luke 9:23, 24; 1 Peter 1:7-9; ! John 4:18,19)
Thank you gentlemen for this wonderful discussion!!
Thank you for this conversation; it has truly refreshed & encouraged my soul.
Man this is some kind of great. My heart strives to hear or speak or read the precious Word of GOD.
I’ve learned so much by listening to these conversations. Thank you so much for your wisdom. I will definitely apply them to my life & ministry.
What a conversation❤ All glory to God
Underrated comment from the video 👇, he's absolutely right, it needs to be better heard and said today:
"But then the fourth thing I mention is our desperate need to leave a legacy of love for the brethren. And - young men or older men - we can become so self-absorbed at times and so cerebral that we forget the importance of really loving the brethren. So I find that my ministry sometimes is far greater if I just send a text...to send a young man or an older man a text and say: Look, just thinking about you and praying for you, brother. I just want you to know that. I really am lifting you up before the Lord in prayer and believing in God for down great things in your life. We have no idea - especially in this day and age of so much rejection and people just feeling like nobody cares - the impact that [encouragement] makes on their life." (30:35)
❤
Thank you so much for these words of encouragement. Each of you have encouraged my soul with your wisdom and humility.
Gracia y Paz de Dios, de nuestro Señor Jesucristo y de nuestro guía fiel El Espíritu Santo para ustedes. Amén. Muy edificante. Muy agradecida.
It's a blessing for me this conversation as a Bible student it's help me and encourage me to be in the Word.
thank you for your faithfulness. praying more ministries will do this. to rightly meditate on His love , is a lesson that can never be exhausted and is essential for the Christian to walk in joy
We have to be living in the end times our need for encouragement is so great let’s not give up let’s Encourage each other the more as we see that day approaching. We are almost there .Jesus is coming soon
It's so good to see and hear you Paul.
Please make more wisdom conversations like that 🙌
Thank you brothers. Very encouraging.
God bless you brothers. Brother Paul. Thank you for your dedication to the Lord, missions, godly wisdom, and true biblical masculinity and femininity. My testimony is very broken, but your teaching is a part of my testimony. As is Sproul, MacArthur, and others. God bless you, brothers. Such a joy.
Very insightful and encouraging. God bless you brothers!❤
Thank you for this so much Lord bless you all
Thanks for sharing this practical wisdom with us, brothers 🙌🏻
So refreshing to listen to mature, humble, down-to-earth, sincere and genuine men; I'll take men such as these any day over the glib, shallow, superficial "young, restless, and Reformed" out only to make a name for themselves and using the name of Christ to do so. Camden Bucey of the OPC is chief among these self-serving men not worthy of the name of "pastor."
It's truly inspiring to see old friends remaining steadfast in the Lord and sharing their wisdom with their younger selves. Am inspired, and, thank you kindly for the tips.
I L❤VE THIS!
Pure wisdom!
I really needed this, thank you so much for recording this conversation!
This discussion really encouraged me. Sincerely, thank you.
Paul, Thank you for this encouraging sit down with well seasoned tenderhearted brothers. I've been so overwhelmed and beat down in this fight with my flesh that it's hard to find the strength to continue pressing forward. My hope is not in my own strength. And It's not in man. It is in our Lord but He hasnt heard my cries for help. Lately I have felt led to seek something tangible. The bride of Christ are the hands and feet and it would really help to find that loving embrace in her arms.
Dear brothers, thank you so much for this sharing from your hearts and experiences. It was a real blessing to me to hear your wisdom and testimony, it's a comfort and it's encouraging. God bless all of you and continue by the Holy Spirit to keep you strong in your faith and to be a vessel for others for His glory. 🙂A sister from Quebec, Canada
I loved this. ❤ Casual, yet full of insightful wisdom.
itis a blessings in christ , thanks for sharing
Brethren please pray for my family, they're not saved , and pray that I get wisdom
This conversation was very spiritually edifying. Praise God
Young men considering ministry-there are three calls that must be made before you move onto the field: 1.) the inward call of the Holy Spirit [I want to serve the Lord]); 2.) the outward call of your local church [their recognition of your gifts/talents but also holiness]); 3.) the outward call of the church that desires you to be their minister [do they also see your gifts and holiness, do they want those used in their lives]).
The advice about taking a part time job and focusing on spiritual growth and Bible reading is spot on. Serve well and avoid fast-tracking through training because this will almost always end in disaster. The seed in the rocky soil grows fast and young men want fast growth. We also are blinded by pride and believe that we are destined for greatness. We want to be first in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Oh God bless this ministry it is very useful for our lives
Thank you for this message. I really needed to hear this from other believers. I feel so encouraged 🤍
THANK YOU BROTHERS
Immediately I didn’t like the first question about a man being called to ministry until I heard the response- of which I agree.
America has been overpopulated by men pursuing their desire to lead others in righteousness before having the wisdom to lead themselves and their wives. If a man isn’t yet married then he doesn’t have understanding of what his first ministry in this life is- his wife.
Paul writing about being single for the Lord was a revealing of wisdom for his time. As we are to perceive there is further biblical wisdom from the Tanakh and Gospel relative to *our* time. The whole of flesh exists in union of man and woman.
Thank you gentlemen
