you packed so much into this short video. I didnt know how she moved to the US when they were so young then back to venezuela. I love her music sm. Her and SOPHIES sentiments on their albums really cracked me open and spoke so deeply to how i felt about my identity. i started listening when KiCk i came out and instantly feel in love with her sound. im so glad someone finally made a video like this on her.
her story is so crazy and inpsiring, it's amazing how someone can be so closeted as a child and teenager and then still go on to be defiantly confident in their identity, she really is amazing
I really hope we get a full length interview with her at some point. Similar to the interviews that Zane Lowe does where it's more of a natural and free flowing conversation about the artists' history and creative process. Just from listening to her music, I'm fascinated by what kind of individual has the ability to create such profound work that should be getting way more exposure than it is currently getting.

Marilyn Manson influence is pretty strong in her style and aesthetic imo. But it seems like she’s a MUCH better than him as a person. I can’t wait to learn more about her. I missed MM aesthetic but I don’t want anything to do with his music or style anymore.

Aphex Twin is very experimental, but when it comes to glitch i would adress the work of Alva Noto or Riuychi Sakamoto more than Aphex. They’re trully deep into glitch sound, drone, microelectronic and other influences pretty evident on Arca’s music. Nice video giving light to the awsome music that Arca has made and her story. thanks so much.

I didn’t know of her existence but it was on my first recommendations and seemed interesting and I liked her backstory and a futuristic sound might good for me, especially since we might not have a lot of new music from Sophie in the future since she isn’t with us anymore 😢

I discovered his music on Internet radio. I loved his musical style immediately. I didn't know he was Venezuelan (I'm Colombian) or anything about his lifestyle. I love his talent as a musician above all else, even though his look is very original, cool, and theatrical. While it's cool and beautiful, I appreciate his talent as a musician the most.

I loved the story of Arca so much is inspiring, some elements reminded me of my own experience into creating a music project, such as being a lgbt artist, started also on myspace, back then only with fruity loops and i was a lot influenced by nine inch nails, soport aeternus and marilyn manson. no wonder why this artist got my attention since the first time i got just one video in my recommendations, thanks to youtube for that.

Got into her music back in 2019 when I heard her self-titled. Still to this day FKA Twig's LP1 is my favorite produced album that Arca has worked on!

arcas music is amazing. if u loved SOPHIE i think u will enjoy arca. she has such a huge catalogue of music and her sound is completely its own.
