Okay, can we just take time to appreciate the sound effects for this scene? Because I love the mix of classic and modern sounds of the bullets ricocheting.
The action scenes are amazing. I must say it, the way they make fun of rusian army and soldiers on this movie is Hilarious, but of course Rusia at 90s was a mess
OK I prefer old school Bond movies but GoldenEye was very unique Action/Adventure movie - great storyline, impressive visual effects. This movie opened "The New Era Bond Movies". I can't say that Pierce Brosnan was #1 Bond but he looked great in this role. Sean Bean was perfect villain. Famke Janssen was brilliant Bond Girl - real bad ass. I also love Tina Turner's theme song - very memorable.
I think Pierce was the best Bond! He had everything, swag most use if gadgets, always doing something cool, great with the ladies, jokes always hitting the punches at the right time but the fight scenes wasn't the best but they weren't bad either. My Bond order is #1Pierce, 2# Roger Moore, thr Timothy Dalton movies were ok and you can put whoever is the best to you after two I posted. Who do you think was the best Bond? It definitely wasn't Craig at all, all his movies were bad except for the last one, even though it ended terribly.
@@redcrimson1028 Craig is my least favorite Bond and I don't care that I'm in minority with this. Pierce was great. I only disliked him in Die Another Day. Roger Moore is my #1, then Connery and then Pierce but Dalton was great too

I do think the stunt choreography and fighting does however go's to Craig hands down above all the actors though but that's about it. I definitely respect your line up because all these guys were great. Dalton was cool though! Surprise me Q lol. One again, for me : #1 Pierce #2 Roger Moor was bad ass dude u gotta admit, he was also cool. Man pierce was just awesome. He had everything, he definitely didn't have the best fight scenes but they were good enough. He had the best swag for a bond character. Have u seen the November man with pierce? That was like his own James bond movie without the name. It was good. Why everybody hate die another day? That movie was great. The only drawback was I think they should've done more with Halley Berry's character though other than that, that was one of pierces best Bond movies. It was definitely better than the world is not enough.
Still like Brosnan better than Craig's Bond. While I like Craig, Brosnan was still more of the dashing, lady's man the character was supposed to be...and occasionally you got scenes like this. Also, a lot of people miss it, but he switches guns in the staircase.
Brosnan was always my favorite he was more serious with his enemies. Fun fact Brosnan's wife actually wanted him to get the James bond role it was her dream look what happened sadly she died right before he was hired. 😂
Flemming's Bond was never a dashing lady's man. Craig is _precisely_ Fleming's Bond and I've been waiting for him my whole life. The only other actor that came close was Dalton.
Those first 30 seconds after he escapes the room are my favorite of any Bond movie. He is desperate, his back is against the wall, and there's no room for finesse. At that moment we see what he is truly capable of, and as Natalia's reaction shows it is absolutely terrifying and awful.
Nick Jakusi Because there were so many Amazing movies and Popular movies in that Year as well as this Classic Bond Film! BraveHeart, Die Hard 3: With A Vengeance, Toy Story, Pocahontas, Jumanji, Seven, Heat, Bad Boys, Batman Forever, Rob Roy, Water World, Babe, Apollo 13, Assassins, Casper, Ace Ventura, Casino, The Basketball Diaries, The Quick and The Dead, The Usual Suspects, the list goes on. Not all of the movies I mentioned are Amazing but they are popular to this day. But a lot of those movies are Amazing! Just goes to show how Big of a year it was for Film and Cinema!
At 1:45 there are at least 3 tanks blocking #343 tank's path to the perimeter wall but at 3:40 Bond miraculously manages to get through all those tanks to bust the wall. Gotta be a super tank.
Pierce Brosnan was the “soft spoken” James Bond compared to the others. Loved the 90’s and early 2000’s Brosnan era. I kinda wished they gave him one more “Everything Or Nothing” with William Defoe as the villain.
It always leaves me in stitches how Ourumov angrily screams at Natalya to "get out" as he's already pulling her out by the arm. Dude has a lot of these subtly comedic moments throughout the film.
So you would intentionally give someone that knows you intend to kill them a loaded gun, before rambling on about it and slowly begin to pull out your own gun. That seems relatively unlikely.
I remember seeing this scene for the first time and thinking damn this is a cool new Bond he just shoot more henchmen than all the previous Bonds in this scene alone.
Goldeneye was written for Timothy Dalton and kept the movie darker which is why this is one darker in tone then Brosnan’s other Bond films. Timothy Dalton quit the role before Goldeneye was in production and Brosnan took over.
Still my favorite Bond actor.
Still my favorite Bond movie.
And still my favorite N64 game.
AGREED!! This game had recently released on Nintendo Switch Online.
I feel your pain. Plaing Nintento is always a traumatic experience.
I just love it how he casually adjusts his tie after two cars ran into the rear of his tank.
The dry humour never gets old
5:19 - "Use the bumper. That's what it's for." That line gets me every time!!
Ourumov: "hah! i framed you for the murder of a russian agent now what are you gonna do?"
Bond: *"so anyways I started blasting"*
It is a Ministr of defence
@@RedCerberus010 ouromov hated that guy anyway
1:13 where Natalya grabs Bonds shoulders and points him to the direction new hostiles appear is always a win. + the score = perfection
Archives, Streets and Depot in 8 minutes worth of movie time

World Record speedrun.
4:34 - I always loved that 'My man is going to save me' look in her face
Lol I loved that too.
Okay, can we just take time to appreciate the sound effects for this scene? Because I love the mix of classic and modern sounds of the bullets ricocheting.
The little things like that ultimately determine how well a film ages
This is the best action scene from the Brosnan era, simply amazing.
What a movie 🎬 and the music 🎶 😮 totally awesome 👌
Let's hear it for practical effects holding up 25 years later.
The action scenes are amazing.

@@timwingham8952 I just wanted to emphasize they could only joke like this about rusian army at the 90s, today is a different history.
I love the fact that he choose real T-55 among the group of Chieftain mocked up as Russian tank.
You'd figure with filming in Russia, they could have done a wide establishing shots with some other T-55s.
I love how the Volvo 240 at 7:07 is like fuck that I may be a Tank but I aint going up against THAT Tank

Bond, James Bond
He forgot to retrieve the Chopper Black Box, so he still failed the mission.
Josh Donoho 😂😂😂 still the best bond film ever tho
He was only on Agent difficulty.
The Era when Guns SOUNDED like GUNS 🔫 ❤🇳🇬
The sound of the AK47
The sound of the KRINKOV 😊
Nothing beats the over the top action of the 90’s. Nothing.
And here it doesn't feel excessive still. Kinda cheesy but in a good way.
Witness the grandeur of METROPOLIS

Fatal instinct, the true bond modus operandi

But he did stop at the red light.

I can see Bond's name almost cleared:
He didn't kill the defence minister... He did kill 137 other soldiers though.
Innocent soldiers, too. They were deceived by their general, and thought Bond was a terrorist.
It was a conspiration made by the russians to make Russia return as USSR
Nataliya is such a helpful bond girl.
Yes she is.
I remember the first time I saw this film back in the 90's when those crisp clear horns come in at 2:11 thinking "okay now it's a James Bond movie."
At 1:45 there are at least 3 tanks blocking #343 tank's path to the perimeter wall but at 3:40 Bond miraculously manages to get through all those tanks to bust the wall. Gotta be a super tank.
Considering he comes out of the wall at a height, he probably ran over the others.
I love when guards only respond to "Guards!" but not to gunshots being fired.

3:38 A typical day in Russia
typical situation for america ua-cam.com/video/tdp7pJr_tV8/v-deo.html We in Russia tanks are on military bases
His tank insurance is gonna go through the roof!
Every vehicle in movies explode upon impact.
The best looking Bond of all time. And the suits to match his charismatic appeal. Brosnan. Connery and Moore were the best.
Those guards would make excellent Imperial Stormtroopers... They aim about as well...
"I need a Hero" starts playing in her head at 3:48.

Saint Petersburg
One of the best scenes ever!
Ahhhh, old man Brosnan, you are impeccable, the quintessential Bond!
T-55 is one sexy beast! And yet this one is a specific "AMV" variation I think!
Fast Tanks, but not very well armored, too.
Whats the other tank? The "46" seen at 3:07?
Tank chase scene was actually filmed in Sanct Peterburg - Russia second capital city. :)
Bond drifting a tank, bad guy boozing, Chodes shooting AK’s at a tank. Total bond
Just filmed a normal day in Russia 🇷🇺 and daily traffic and then labeling it a James Bond movie.
The guards didn’t respond to the gunshots, but did respond instantly when he shouted “guards!”
Childhood memories.

Brosnan... PIERCE BROSNAN. The best actor to ever play Bond in my opinion!
One of the greatest Bond movies 🎬 of all time, right up there with Goldfinger and Moonraker 👌
This is one of my favirote scenes in the movie including the tank chase. Hillarously ingenious
